Alex is not just a tutor, he is a mentor who knows how to make maths fun and easy to understand. He always had creative ways to explain the concepts and make me look forward to our sessions. He also taught me how to approach problems logically and systematically, which boosted my confidence and grades. I had Alex as my tutor for general maths in year 11 and 12. He is very good at what he does as a tutor as he does a exceptional job at explaining how to solve math questions through showing you how to do so in a clear bound reference that he writes through each step into solving the question. Throughout year 12 I was getting more out my 1 hour sessions with Alex than a full week of math lessons with my actual math teacher at school. Alex also prepared me for year 12 exams with very good advice on what to do leading into exams. He made more time throughout his day into doing two hour sessions daily instead of one hour sessions weekly into the days before the maths exams. For any student in needing of a tutor, I highly recommend Alex as he helped me out a lot through my year 12 studies.
