There are many beautiful hiking trails in Discovery Park that take you by the river and into the woods. Horses & Mountain Bikers also use this trail but it's always less busy that Watertown Canyon.

Such a beautiful place full of dedicated, knowledgeable people and very informative and fun programs. You can visit early or late at a chance to see various critters from waterfowl to deer, trails are well managed and is dog friendly if you keep them on the leash, there are also two restrooms managed by the park that are open. There is also bird banding programs which was an amazing experience that is a must to attend at least once in your life to see a bird so up close and personal.
