I feel kinda bad for not remembering his name, but I wanted to leave a super happy review for the UPS guy that went out of his way to make sure I got my package today. Its true, the location is kinda hard to decipher because the door has to stay locked and there isn't a doorbell or anything. I see why people complain about doing business there, but I guess I got lucky because this guy was knowledgeable, friendly, and he totally went above and beyond to connect my to my mailing. Im so grateful!

Since when is it ok to “Drop” packages over the fence and say it’s delivered! This is a reoccurring issue. When we arrive home can barely even get in and not to mention the amount of rain we receive here in Ketchikan, AK!

UPS Driver Delivered Package Not Addressed to my Business ( Another Business Down The Road ) Called Them to Report , They Said Someone would Call me to Arrange Pick up , I Waited 4 Hours for Call and Nothing , So I Called Them Back And They Said Someone Would Call Me Within The Hour , Another Two Hours have Gone By and Still No Call . So If Your Package Is Late Its Probably At What Ever Address They Mis-Delivered It At

There's no way to contact them directly, there's no posted hours, and the people on the toll-free number don't know anything about this depot. Good luck, you're better off swimming with your package to Prince Rupert.
Edit to add that an automated reply on my review requesting me to DM on social media that I don't have isn't going to help. I should be able to get satisfactory service via your 800 number, but it looks like that's going to happen the same time elephants grow wings.

Do not use UPS unless you want to be frustrated and have a lot of problems!! Freight gets to Anchorage and updates stop and no one has a clue about where your package is and when you'll get it. Unfortunately, many suppliers do not offer alternative shippers and so we get stuck is this awful loop!! It's not the local UPS personnel that's the problem, but their system of managing freight out of Anchorage. I would say no stars if I could

You would think in 2023 having more resources in Ketchikan than metlakatla does you would simply be able to ship a toddler bed from Ketchikan to metlakatla but no and they are so far away from the ferry terminal that theres no point getting a taxi when its going to cost as much as it would bring a vehicle to Ketchikan and driving all that way just to get a toddler bed that they could also easily drop off because they have to tell us come get what we wont ship to you and you only have 5 days the worst mailing in my life

We have had HORRIBLE issues between Amazon, UPS and the post office this summer. I have now had 9 packages returned to Amazon with most recent 4 saying I refused them. Its an issue somewhere between PO:UPS:Amazon and I cannot call them to ask them to hold at their facility because they don’t answer the phone and the facility is always closed so there is no way to get help for all my items in transit. Post Office says the labels are missing unit number and Amazon says labels are correct. The only one in the middle is UPS and they are not available. ?

Absolutely the worst. Damaged my package and have things missing from it so I tried calling and I can't even talk to a human. Worst shippers there are end of story. Hope someone like the free hunting gear your welcome A** holes
