Your neighbor across the road had a HUGE Festival we stopped in and parked at the church as many people had. As we walked from the deep lot to the gate a man said I’m locking the gate and you won’t be able to leave. So we turned around to get back to our car and saw a couple getting out with a wheelchair so we told them that man is closing the gate because he has to get ready for church tomorrow. The man at the gate started yelling at us about leaving. You lost many opportunities to reach people who may not know Jesus. The man at the gate was rude and honestly could have turned many non believers away because of his cold heart. I’m saddened by this experience. I am sure the farmers market advertised well. If you didn’t want to share your parking lot it should have been closed Friday night. I would NOT be interested in visiting your church based on this interaction!

This is an awesome church and school! My family has been a part of this church/school since 2012. I absolutely love the "old school" type church. Having come from a "contemporary" church, this church is refreshing! They have taught my family how to serve God. They are not afraid to talk about sin and where that gets you without repentance. I even witnessed a meeting after an evening service where the Pastor admitted fault to can issue and asked forgiveness from the members right there! I have never been to a church where a pastor admitted fault to anything! They not just in it for the numbers, they actually care about you (whether you tithe or not).

If you want a Bible based, down home preaching kind of church, try Elmwood. You won't be disappointed!

What an Amazing Church, They mean what they say about it being more than a church, its a family. We have been attending for some time now, where God is honored and Jesus is the truth. Wouldnt even think of going anywhere else. Please consider joining us, as our loving Pastor says, you come a few times and ya stick!

This is the best church we have ever attended. There has been no other church that I have found that preaches the pure and wholesome Word of God from the King James Bible. I wish we would have found Elmwood Baptist Church many, many years ago. It has helped my family grow spiritually in a big way. Thank you to all the pastoral staff and their families for sticking to the fundamentals.

Great FAMILY oriented church. Moved to Brighton a couple years ago and was looking for a home church that preached out of the Bible. It's an old fashioned Christ centered church with an old school choir and piano. The only church we have ever visited that asked if we were saved on the first visit. I highly recommend that you come see for yourself and see what awesome work the Lord is doing here.

Hi my name is Donna,
I have lived in Brighton Colorado since 1979...I started going to Elmwood Baptist Church somewhere around 2002... I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior & baptized at Elmwood Baptist Church..
Pastor Randall go strictly by the Bible & lives his life accordingly to what the Bible says.. I'm pretty shy and usually don't speak my mind or write reviews, but in no way is Elmwood Baptist church a cult.. I don't understand how anyone could say that when Pastor Randall goes strictly by the Bible..
I love Pastor Randall and his wife Betty and our church members. We are more than church members we are a family of God.
Please come by and enjoy one of Pastor Randall's sermons..Everyone is welcomed with open arms..

I was looking for school for my daughter not realizing, I would find school that teaching my daughter how to walk with The Lord. As well as church, where God would heal my broken heart.
Elmwood is church, where you'll grow in The Lord. Church members are down to earth and caring. They will go out of their way to help you and care for you. So many times, I've seen men help move church family, come to change tires on side road. Women come with comfort food, visiting sick and lonely. They receive you with open arms, like Jesus Christ taught us. Their lives based on the God's Word. This church is not perfect but they do try to reach the goal to live for the Lord.
I've been with this church for 12 years.
