Bethany and assistant Kelly were absolutely indispensable at the birth of my second baby. We wanted an unmedicated VBAC, and Bethany was so knowledgeable about how to get baby in an optimal position. Ultimately, we did not end up with the birth process we had hoped for, but I know that thanks to my birth team we tried EVERYTHING that should have worked. They really made an immense difference in the outcome, especially the way I was able to process and frame how everything worked out. My medical staff/midwives were also familiar with Bethany and spoke with admiration and respect about her work. I highly recommend Boulder County Birth Services.

Bethany- oh my land. She is so much more than your average doula. My husband and I felt very reassured choosing her as our doula with her nursing background. And now she’s a midwifery student! She is so knowledgeable and is very present and ready to help her clients.

Bethany is incredibly gifted at what she does. I truly couldn’t have asked for a more present, prayerful, supportive, knowledgeable, and trustworthy doula. I have had her attend both of my sons births — both births were very different from one another. In both events, Bethany made me feel very seen, she offered advice, comfort measures, & support, and she stayed calm and collected throughout. I would hire her again and again. I truly couldn’t picture laboring and delivering without her. She is so caring, comes with loads of experience, and thrives in any birth space. 10/10! 🤍

My husband and I are so happy we hired Bethany as our Doula! It was a huge goal of mine to birth naturally and I believe I was only able to do it because of Bethany! I contacted her just a couple weeks before delivering but she quickly provided resources for us to prepare as well as comfort as she answered all of our questions. On the day of delivery Bethany walked me through every step of labor and was in tune with everything I needed even when I didn’t know I needed it (I.e. changing positions, essential oils, drinking fluids). On top of all that she completely honored our birth plan and helped us and those around us to stick to it as well! I can go on forever about Bethany but all in all, we are so thankful we found her and we highly recommend her!

Bethany was wonderful! It was incredibly helpful during labor to have someone that made my husband and I feel like we were taking actions that were helping with the progression of labor. She really helped me find my rhythm and relax into the experience, allowing me to follow the unmedicated birth plan that I had wanted. We also really appreciated the ease of communication with Bethany in person and over text both during the pregnancy and once labor started.

Bethany and her assistant Dayna were kind, knowledgeable, wonderful advocates, and had amazing levels of positivity and listening skills. They were helpful from the moment we started working with them during the pregnancy (with twins, no less). The referrals and recommendations were invaluable as I ran into questions and issues with the pregnancy, especially ones that I did not want to wait to solve with the OB or that web searching just gave me anxiety about. We had an unplanned cesarean and Bethany and Dayna took so much pressure off my husband as my sole support (our family is out-of-state), as well as helping me stay calm and happy. The birth went incredibly well, even peacefully, and in large part we have the doulas to thank for that. We also cherish the pictures they took during the birth, which would never have been possible without them (I never expected to love the pictures so much, but I'm so glad we have them). We also received support postpartum. I cannot recommend Bethany and Dayna enough.

Bethany is knowledgeable and professional as well as helpful and caring. She was always available to answer questions, which was especially helpful in early labor. The prenatal meeting was very beneficial in preparing for labor, both practically and emotionally, while the postpartum meeting was a good opportunity to go back over the experience. And of course, Bethany's help during labor, particularly as a calming and level-headed presence amidst all the stress, cannot be overstated.

Absolutely loved the Birthing Boot Camp class with Bethany! It's incredibly informative for first time parents and Bethany provided a very nurturing, loving, environment to ask questions, express fears and concerns, and share experiences during pregnancy. We feel much more prepared and empowered going into labor and delivery and are so thankful for this 10-week experience!
