I have two of my children in Kumon (one is Kumon Platinum and other is Kumon Gold). They have both benefited immensely from the Kumon curriculum in both Math and Reading. With time, both kids started seeing the benefit of Kumon and wanted to continue. This center is accommodating in terms of hours and has good teachers. Kumon also helped in course advancement leading to more AP courses+higher GPA in high school. Good Math also translates to more time for History, Sports, and Music. I strongly encourage this Kumon center for both Math and Reading.

I can’t even put into words how bad this place is. I went here about 2-3 years ago for math and reading. My time there was filled with stress. I couldn’t focus on sports and my actual school work. Call mom stresses it’s students out. They give work 24/7/365 even on holidays and special occasions. That is very stressful and not good at all. Students need a break. Plus they just give you work and not teach you it. If you’re not gonna teach you it then how are you going to learn. Also when you start Kumon they make you start very low from a grade level. I was in 3rd grade when I started and Kumon made me do “counting and adding 1 digit numbers” when I first started. When I was there I was so stressed out I begged my parents to let me quit. Once I quit my life got so much easier. I was getting Way better grades than I did while I was doing Kumon. I talk to my friends that also want to here And they had the worst experiences like I did. In fact pretty much every single kid that goes there and other Kumon places hates it. The only reason why they go is because their parents force them to. I talked to a couple of friends and they said that they were so stressed that they were starting to develop depression. I am not old enough yet but I wish I could sue this place. DON’T EVER SEND YOUR KIDS HERE!

It is a great place I have improved a lot . I’m now in geometry. By the way the one star I gave was in accident cause I was in a rush to help out my friend while I was about to give my thoughts on this place. I did both math and reading for a Long time I stopped doing reading but it still gave me great improvement in my reading abilities and grammar. Especially, in math I have improved the most I understand concepts in school much easier because Kumon has helped me ways to finish problems. It also has taught me tricks to use to check my answers because Mrs. Rama helped me on it. Kumon does get frustrating for me and I do the wrong thing sometimes but Mrs.Rama helps me overcome my problems. Overall, Kumon at Lansdale has improved my skills drastically and made me a much better student.
