We had our wedding at Camp Shady Brook in May 2019 and it was nothing short of incredible. Our guests stayed in cabins and got to participate in archery, canoeing, riflery- all of the traditional camp activities! Shady Brook made all of the food and did a wonderful job- they were accommodating to all our requests and let us build our own menu with favorite family recipes. By far the best part was Chris and the other camp staff- they were incredibly accommodating to all of our ideas and executed the weekend so smoothly I didn’t have to worry about anything. I would 100% recommend Camp Shady Brook!

I've been here two summers, and I absolutely love this place! The activities are a ton of fun, the campers and staff are friendly, and the food is pretty good. The water is very cold, we only got 5 minutes to shower, and there wasn't always enough food (maybe I was just hungry from all the hiking), but that's pretty typical of all the camps I've been to. I've made some of the best memories of my life with my friends here.

This place was amazing. My children have gone here for the last two summers and we did a family stay. Chris and his group are amazing and always willing to help. The food was much better than thought it would be (sorry guys, military made me think it would be bad). Great views and awesome things to do. Try this place out.

We have used Camp Shady Brook for our company retreat several times. Chris and his staff are incredible. They are the epitome of hospitable and do a great job! I highly recommend them if you are looking for a great team building experience!

Fabulous camp with the nicest most talented staff! We took our student leaders from our high school and they got to do some tremendous team building on the high and low ropes course.

The staff was so patient with our students and very knowledgeable about team building. We will definitely book again for more student leadership training camps!

Camp Shady Brook is the ideal place to conduct your retreat, summer camp, family reunion, etc. We've held our weekend, 3-day, Christian men's retreat at CSB seven times, with reservations to return for an eighth in 2023. The setting is calming and majestic. The facilities are wonderful. The food is fabulous. Pricing is very fair. And the staff is outstanding - committed at all times to top-notch customer service. For each retreat, we've enjoyed a memorable, must-return-next-year experience. The Camp is so popular with our group in fact, that participants have flown in from PA, CA, AZ, LA, & NC. The greatest take-away for me, however, is that I get to coordinate each visit with Mr Chris Maddy, CSB's Associate Executive Director. The consummate, courteous professional, he supports, prepares, and/or provides each and every necessary resource I request for our events. Chris is both accommodating and competent: a joy to work with!

We hosted our event for 75 people at Camp Shady Brook this past October, and it was an incredible experience. Chris was wonderful to work with in the planning phases, and very responsive over email, which really put our minds at ease. The drive from Denver is gorgeous (especially as the Aspen were changing), and Camp itself is perfectly rustic and charming. Our guests had a blast fishing, tomahawk throwing, ziplining, and making s'mores at our nightly camp fires. We can't recommend Camp Shady Brook enough for their amazing staff, beautiful location, thrilling activities, and delicious food (adhering to all our dietary restrictions). Everything was above and beyond. Thank you all so much!

As a camp organizer I am thoroughly impressed with the staff at Shady Brook. I worked closely with Sonny and Stefanie and was constantly impressed with their organization and helpfulness. Our camp went off without a hitch in large part because of them. The facilities were clean, the food (thanks to Cindy) was scrumptious, the campers loved the activities that were ran by Tommy, Sarah, Hannah, and Max. Everyone was happy including us! Thank you Shadybrook!! You guys are the best!
