I have been with PPCH for 2+ years providing foster care and it has been a great experience. They provide great support and help, along with providing much needed training. The Staff have always been professional and kind. They go above and beyond to make sure the homes they are licensing are providing a safe and compliant home for the clients. Totally 5+ stars

It's sad how agencies are out here saying they're in desperate need for caregivers, but once you apply if they don't like you, they're going to come up with every excuse as to why they refuse to give you a client. I personally think this company is a bit racist and bias. I did my training through this company as a host home provider in 2018, and I had 1 class to take a long with my home study. And in that time frame they hired a new placement liaison 2ho said he lost my file, 3ven though I had all my certificates. They never gave me a client back then. This year they had a booth at Juneteenth for foster care. I said I was interested, but I didn't have a good experience with them in 2018. I trusted the person that operates Juneteenth so I decided to give them another chance. Once again I completed all the training, I let them know in July I was recently diagnosed with arthritis and my finances had changed. And after my 2nd home study. My income all of a sudden became a problem. Why did it take you 4 months to clarify that? I personally think they decided to change their minds 1. I'm 6ft and black and I find these agencies give there most challenging patients to black families, but because of my arthritis, they couldn't. 2nd is because I'm direct and wasn't going for all that bs. How am I yellow flagged and have worked in almost every hospital in the state of Colorado, but have this white lady sitting next to me in our CPR class announcing that she's going to kill her ex husband because of there divorce, but she ain't yellow flagged. During my fundamental foster parent training. The trainer made a comment that made me feel like she thinks I beat my son. Idk if it's because I'm black or because my son is so well behaved. Anyway fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. I'm glad this didn't work out. What a terrible company. Kids are in the foster system because of the system not because they can't find good homes to put them in.

Very frustrated with Parker today! my daughter was supposed to be picked up at noon. At 12:30 I'm texting then calling everyone just get voice mail. Leave a message wondering what is happening. a few minutes later I get a call from the "boss" above the director, Kathy. She apologizes and says staff is on the way, they are short staffed. I asked if I should just feed my daughter lunch and asked when I should expect them. her answer was "that's up to you" and stated they should be here within 15 minutes. My daughter always eats at day program around noon and is probably hungry and if they are going to be almost an hour late then yes it would have been nice to know so I could feed her. I begin preparing her lunch and guess who shows up? This is not how you treat the people who keep you employed. Thanks very much Parker for taking time away from me unannounced and not even concerned about me or my daughter I had no opportunity to plan around this at all because you were so careless that you didn't even think that being over 30 minutes late warranted a phone call. This is unacceptable. I love the gal who's been working with my daughter, and honestly she's the only reason we are still there. this might be the straw that broke the camels back. Short staffed is understandable complete lack of concern for you clients is not.

When I first began my caregiving with this facility, I believed it to be Ethically and morally sound. There was a level of understanding with the needs of the clients and providers, creating unity at the base of operations,
It was honest, comfortable, professional And I felt Legitimate concern for my well being as well as my clients.
Whenever consulting a program director,
They were conducive to my needs and schedule as a professional health care facility should. However, as time progressed as a provider, I began to experience being handled and not helped, and a lack of balance between all parties involved.
There was a major loss of standards and ethics,
Along with an interruption of correspondence and communication between Program directors and providers.
The postive interactions within the office have steadily decreased and it feels as if the focus is not the Client's needs.
It has become harder to obtain proper communication from the Program Directors,
And the general environment seems insincere.
Also, I've witnessed the minute awareness concerning cultural differences.
Change is only good if executed efficiently,
Especially when it involves the general well being of patients.

Do your own research online about this agency, dig deep, read the reviews on multiple sites (not just the ones that PPCH has had current employees write good reviews to bury the truthful bad ones). Save your loved one the suffering & save yourself from heartache. AVOID THIS AGENCY AT ALL COSTS!

PPCH is one of my favorite DD establishments. They do a lot of work in the community that doesn’t get enough attention in my eyes. I seen them on the Chew a few years ago and I purchased some jam that one of the individuals made and it was amazing! 😉

My experience is the same as the other negative reviews. Not a good place, they seem to care way more about making money than helping people. They treat their clients, (the adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities) poorly and the staff who works with the individuals worse. Because of the way they treat their staff they have a very high turn over rate causing instability causing behavioral issues on their clients end. Lots of lack of communication and they are hard to get a hold of.
