Lily literally saved our family. For over five years she navigated so much more than just care for our parents. When our Paupo was no longer able to walk without the assistance of a wheelchair and then later, when our Mama developed dementia and Alzheimer’s, Lily lovingly made sure every aspect of their needs were met allowing them to age gracefully in their home as long as possible. This included finding and managing hands-on care, medication management, transport to doctors appointments, and even grocery shopping and other errands during Covid when they were unable to get help from family. Not only is Lily extremely competent and knowledgeable in this area, but she also has a compassion for those she works with and navigates many complicated family dynamics in the process of ensuring her clients get the care they need. It really seems words cannot adequately state the support Lily provided our family. Where there was a need, she was there to provide it. Any family who is trying to provide support for a loved one would be blessed to have Lily by their side. When our parents were no longer able to stay at home, Lily‘s husband, Phil, was wonderful in researching and finding options for places to provide needed care for our parents. Even when we moved our parents to facilities, we continued to engage Lily to check on them and ensure everything was being properly managed. I welcome any calls or questions anyone may have with regard to the services she provides.

Phil was amazing. He took everything we said into consideration and spent a ton of time taking us to possible locations for my parents. When we decided to try the home health care option, he completely understood but kept in touch. When we needed a place for my father as his dementia had progressed, he set us up with fine accommodations for him and we couldn't be more pleased with his assistance.

Phil’s expertise was pivotal in finding an assisted living facility and then later a skilled nursing facility for mom.

Initially mom chose a particular assisted living facility only because her friend lived there. This facility had serious management problems that were invisible to us until after mom was settled. After five weeks of poor care and serious medication errors at this particular facility, we were desperate to move mom.

This is the moment when we first got Phil involved. Phil came to the rescue. He provided options that fit mom’s budget and care needs. Phil’s attention to the immediacy of the situation was crucial. He had the expertise and connections to make things happen. He’s an excellent listener and took time to understand what mom needed and her preferences. I shudder to think what would have happened to mom if we hadn’t had Phil helping us. I’m ever so grateful to him.

What a caring, supportive team I found in Lily and Phil Hotaling!!
The caregiving journey for me, like most, was a series of difficult times, ups and downs with an occasional plateau but a exhausting, overwhelming process.

Lily, a Geriatric Care Manager, was always there to take my calls, patiently listening through all the crying, suggesting options, guiding my steps.

Phil accompanied Lily to our home to meet my man. The pastries they brought were an immediate hit with him and allowed them to accurately assess Bill’s illness.
