Both my children, a freshman and a Junior, had Darien as their tutor for IM2 and Calculus BC. They both had nothing but great things to say about Darien. They really connected with him which made it really easy for them to learn the material. I was exceptionally impressed with how he helped my son conquer calculus BC. He went from not being very confident about the material at all to doing exceptional in the class. Having a tutoring session every week really helped him be accountable with his work. I am super impressed with Tutor Dash and will be continuing to send my kids for tutoring in the next school year. Thank you Darien!!!

TLDR; Darrien is a great tutor, I highly recommend him. Candace, though very nice, was often late and didn’t focus on areas of difficulty.

My 9yr old had 4 sessions with Tutor Dash- 3 with Candace and one with Darrien. Candace was very nice and helped to boost my daughter’s confidence with the stuff she already knew but unfortunately she was not able to identify the areas that my daughter really needed help with so there wasn’t much progress outside of more confidence. I suppose I should’ve been more proactive in that regard. Candace was not able to make the last session so Darrien tutored that one and in one hour he was able to explain 4th grade common core long division in a way that actually got through to my daughter! He was also able to give her a few tips to take back to school to help her remember the process. I wish all four sessions had been with Darrien and if we decide to continue here, we will definitely request him.

Darien has done wonders with our son! This was a “let’s just give it a try” thing for us and now I don’t know how we did without. Darien’s rapport with our son is truly impressive and the results speak for themselves. Our son went from squeezing by, to having and maintaining a solid A in high school math.

Scheduling is simple and surprisingly flexible. And pricing is fair. We really can’t say enough good things about our experience with Darien and TutorDash!

TutorDash has had a significant impact on my academic journey. When initially reaching out, I wasn't anticipating passing my Calculus class. However, my tutor was able to break down complex concepts and explain them in a way that made sense to me.Not only that, but my tutor was very kind and went out of his way to make sure I would succeed. Without him I doubt I would have passed!
