I have been shopping at this thrift store for a few years now. Wanda has been the manager the entire time. It has always been a great place to shop and Wanda was a huge part of that. Things changed when the last woman was hired as an assistant to Wanda. She would accuse Wanda of things that did not align with ANY of my experiences with Wanda. I visited the store yesterday and found out that Wanda was fired last week. I would like to say to whoever made that choice, you made a mistake and should look closer at the new hire. Anyone that talks behind the back to customers about issues and calls the 'boss' on their boss wouldn't be a quality employee in my opinion. Again speaking to the one who made this choice, do you remember that Wanda ran the whole store by herself for months when an employee found a better job?Wanda was willing to do that so you could interview and hire a competent employee. Where is your loyalty to a loyal employee? Did you investigate the accusations or just take the word of the new hire? Poor management skills. Wanda will be missed by many. I hear you will be interviewing again. Maybe you should take the time to investigate instead.
