We are new to Grand Junction. The River was so welcoming to our family when we walked in! They're were friendly, helpful, and really made us feel at home in the house of the Lord. This church has a strong presence of the Lord in it, a strong community, and a great message. These people are true examples of what it's like to walk with Christ. We had people pray over us our first couple visits and I felt the spirit of God so strong I started weeping. I believe God had answered that pray that day as well. I am very impressed with this church and thank you for being so welcoming to our family in our new city!

I wasn't given a chance to feel like a stranger at this out of town (for me) church. A gentleman rushed back to the front doors to help me in, even though he was clearly on his way out to his car. At least 10 people introduced themselves to me before service, and then more after. I was invited to a mixer that evening as well. Oh! The sermon, the message, the music, it was all worth coming back for more. 10+ stars from me!
