This gym is amazing. The coach, Judo Dave, is incredibly inclusive, kind, and light hearted. If you’re just starting out wanting to learn Jiu Jitsu, this is a great place. Also Dave is a black belt and a literal wizard, so if you’re a higher belt trying to find a new place to train and learn, this is an awesome spot. Please check them out. Also they are clean and serious about hygiene on the mats.

I work on the road, getting to train various places wherever I go, and got to train here (BJJ) for around six weeks when I was working in Denver last year. This is by far one of the better places I've trained at. The atmosphere is great and Professor Dave is the real deal. The way in which techniques are taught here is very different than most places I've trained at. Very detail oriented and the effectiveness shows during rolls. If you're looking for a place that teaches the 'invisible' aspects of the art you've found it. Highly recommended!

This review is long overdue, I spent a few months at Rocky Mountain jujitsu and the community is tightknit, BJJ for beginners and experience practitioners. Professor Dave is an amazingly patient instructor, I really like his calm demeanor and the way he teaches. If you’re in the Northglenn area and thinking about joining a school I encourage you to check it out.

First time in this gym. Environment is stellar, the coach is super funny and describes things in a way that helps the concepts stick. He knows when to not give feedback so you can work some stuff out, he knows when to over the top yell for encouragement and positive cheering, he knows when to give detailed critique so you can improve. Great coach, great environment, great dudes.

I have no experience in BJJ but what I can tell you is there was such a great atmosphere. I've only been to one class but I felt very welcomed and felt very encouraged the whole way through by my instructor AND my classmates. It went so well I decided to buy a shirt on the first day!

This might just be one of best places to train bjj in the metro area. Rocky Mountain Jiu Jitsu is clean, affordable, and has fantastic instruction per Chris. It also lacks the cliques and pack-mentality that seems to permeate the sport. Whether you're just starting out, advanced, or somewhere in between, you will be welcomed with open arms here. Here you'll get an intense workout and comprehensive instruction.

Chris is a great instructor, and RMJJ is a great place to train. I'm really new to jiu jitsu and they've been great at teaching me and training me. I'd recommend training here for anyone new or advanced looking for a new place to roll.

I did the week long free into and loved how Chris taught. It is a very laid back gym to learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai. I didn't feel intimidated at all. A lot of BJJ gyms lately are getting a little rough and injuries have higher chances of happening but with Chris he keeps things pretty relaxed and fun. But as chill as it is you'll still sweat and get an awesome workout. Out of all the MMA gyms I've "shopped" at this would be my first choice in gyms. It holds a nice 50/50 balance between BJJ and Muay Thai.
