went to this school 6-7th grade. it was horrible. had my first nervous breakdown here, the kids were super rude, hallways were crowded and as a result of the crowded school there was little time for one on one time with teachers for questions. gave it two stars only because the electives were great, good teachers in that aspect. also, the uniforms can go suck it, i hated that.

Run! Don't go to this school I just removed my son from here. Officer Beren doesn't care about the safety of the students. He wrote me a ticket cause a girl keep hitting my son and I yelled at her and nothing has happened to the girl. The school won't help you in anyway I have so many story's of this school.. IF YOU CARE FOR YOUR KIDS SAFETY DONT PUT THEM IN THIS SCHOOL. Mine goes to private school now best thing to do.

This rating is based solely on the experience I just had with the office workers. What a super uncomfortable, unwelcoming, and unpleasant experiance. The Hispanic woman when you first walk in was talking to me like I was an idiot... She was rude and all around very unpleasant. I needed to give my daughters shot records to the health aide, she acted like I gave her something in hieroglyphics... I don't know what her issue was with the way the doctor stamped the shot records, but that was also very awkward and weird. Hope I don't need to go there again for any reason.

I am taking my son out of this school and I will not stop until some action is taken againced the school and staff. At the beginning of the year we had a plan in place for my son and since my son was doing very well they decided to stop the plan without my knowledge and when my son started doing poorly they blamed him. They never did fulfill the plan they had suggested in the beginning that helped my son do well. It was their idea. Their plan and they failed my son by not fulfilling what they had set in place. For this reason I want the school held accountable for failing our children. They have disrupted my sons education and its time they answer why.

School was sub-par compared to others in the area in my opinion. Very run-down and incompetent administration. Wish they acted in best interests for the students and not just "fund and run." The school runs similar to a prison and has very strict rules and regulations that can make students feel uncomfortable.

EDIT 2: Officer Barons has been known to curse at students and make them feel unwelcome. What a shame to see an officer representing the city of Thornton like this.

This is so ghetto and the kids are too. The teachers act they don't care about anybody but themselves. The teachers give you hard work that you cant even do. The café serve pizza everyday and do you want you kids eating pizza like that which has make my child gain 10 pounds do you want your kids out of shape like WHY? The don't have any teams like cheerleading o football and this is a middle for heavens sake. You have to wear uniforms that's what I like because you don't have to worry about you kids getting bullied for not having clothes or you kids will not look trashy they will look classy. They do take the kids to Denver University and my child said that that was fun and she learned a lot. Then if your child is not in a honors class they treat you like crap and if you are they always want you to be better than anybody else!!!

This school sucks i mean i hate everyone there i also dont like the teachers theres alot of people there that is just annoying and mean i go yo this school almost everyday and feel like the teachers dont even talk to me about nothing when i ask for someone at my table for help they just ignore me the teachers also teaches bad i always study when theres a quiz and this school is so confusing. uncluding the counseler when ever you tell her something in a conversation she tells your parents even when you tell her not to tell them. Including people in honors the people who are not in honors this is why the teachers there dont teach you much that you dont know this is why this school is horrible.

This school sucks even if you were a uniform you still get bullied and the kids there have ZERO maners there is this one girl who cuts her self so much and the teachers don't care my elementary school taught me more than this the teachers do what they do everyday to the point they don't even laugh they have this glare but then again Mr Jones is pretty fun he always add a little extra something to my day that makes it all worth it...the cool thing tho is I get to look out the window and imagine things I do listen to the teacher but I wish they would add more fun like let us learn out side and walk around...man what I wouldn't do to have a class out side that sounds fun a girl can only dream I hate having to were uniforms they are uncomfortable and I love to were my own stuff so any more people would go to this school if they just got rid of a few rules here and there that school might as well be jail
