I’ve been a Hulstrom mom since 2017 and I can’t say enough good things about the school and staff. My kids have been supported in their education and given compassion when they need it. We’ve had great teachers every year. We will miss the community when my kids age out. We’ve never had issues with bullying, and from other Hulstrom parents I’ve heard these issues get sorted out well when they do happen. The transition to middle school was a particularly good experience, unlike my own growing up. The teachers genuinely care and know my kids. I can’t say enough good things about this school. We’re lucky to have it!

My daughter started at Hulstrom in 2021 and my son in 2023. Even though they are very different kids, they both love being All-Stars in their own way! I am confident that they are getting a great education. The SEL (Social Emotional Learning) team has helped my daughter through a friendship drama and provided tools for my son’s social skills at ‘Lunch Bunch’.
My favorite thing about Hulstrom is the community that shows up and shines through at school & PTA events!

Some of the teachers are extremely short, Miss Sturgeon only teaches kindergarten so the kids aren’t taller than her. She shrinks by the second. My son came back home and said he was taller than his teacher. He’s in kindergarten… some teachers are sigma. Some are poopy. Overall good I guess.

I am a teacher, and sending my child here is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. My child thrives here. They have so many fun things for the community. This is an amazing school!

The food is moldy the teachers are mean they let us go outside in freezing weather (32F) the school only cares about reputation and not the students feelings so yeah bad

I believe this is my first time EVER writing a review on Google but it is very much needed. Truly a horrible school in terms of support of their students. Counselors here are not responding appropriately to students’ concerns and requests (even when students are asking for help with their abusive peers) and COMPLETELY disregard their mental health needs. It is truly amazing how neglectful adults can be toward kids in this school.

This school sucks. They don't care about students mental health, even when their peers are abusive or they display self harm or suicide behaviors. I don't care how many good reviews you see for this school, DONT BELEIVE THEM. I'm willing to bet half of them are left by staff. the school doesn't care about students, my mental health is at an all time low since ive come to this school, and the staff does not care. Worst school ever. i have a million horror stories from Hulstrom, and my friends all have a billion more.
