We’ve had a great experience at this clinic! We mostly see Dr. Miller but have also seen a couple others after our son’s birth and all have been great. They keep us up-to-date on when vaccines are available. I appreciate that they don’t overreact but give care and consideration for what the situation needs so my children are adequately cared for. I like the doctors’ approaches to treatment and their attention to changes in my children.

We have had issues with this place in many ways. The thing that I'm here to mainly complain about is this. We were trying to get a referral to get a helmet for our son to help reshape his head because he has a flat spot. The only referral that they would give us was out of Denver. I guess Pediatric Associates doesn't believe in these helmets so the only place they will refer you to is Denver to make it difficult on you to get one for your child. They believe it's purely cosmetic so there's "no need for them". To me, I came to the doctor to get care for our child and they're not willing to help provide the care I want or need. To top it off there's other issues we have had like them being rude and pushy with certain vaccinations. I believe some vaccinations are good but I also have my concerns about others. Because I have concerns and want to take a little extra time to research and make a decision shouldn't be a issue. I'm just looking out for the wellbeing of my child. Some of the doctors here are understandable but some have been super rude to us about it. One of the times is when we took our son in because it seemed he might be having symptoms similar to asthma. Me having asthma since I was a baby has a lot of experience with this. When we took him in, the Dr. insisted that he got RSV and that it was basically our fault because we didn't get him the RSV vaccination yet. They insisted that it couldn't be anything like asthma and that it HAD to be RSV. They took samples and later calling us telling us it's not RSV but not even being willing to reconsider possible asthma because "Babies can't have asthma". After the most recent incident with the referral for the helmet I took our child to a pediatrics out of Delta and they gave us the referral same day. I also asked/talked with them about the asthma issue and they said "Babies can't officially be diagnosed with asthma at such a young age but they have something that they can get that is very similar to asthma and gives the same symptoms of asthma." Well if this was the case why didn't pediatric associates revisit this possibility after realizing they were very WRONG about the RSV? To me this is very poor care. I will be now taking our children somewhere else from now on. I hope no one else has to have an experience like this and that it changes in the future.

Went in for a follow up appointment, Dr Vader right away started saying she don't know why th ER would put the information they did in there notes. She was very unpleasant and belittling. Definitely not pleased with this visit.

I called to schedule a new patient exam to establish care for my daughter since we just moved to Montrose from Denver. The front desk scheduled an appointment then called back saying they can’t see her if she’s not sick or due for a well child check. I stated I’m wanting to establish care for my daughter. The Manager stated ā€œwe don’t do miscellaneous appointments for the heck of itā€ and said to take her to an urgent care. I stated it’s a visit type, which she didn’t understand and was very rude and unprofessional. I called peak professionals immediately after and they stated they do new patient appointments to go over medical history/ establish care. I’ve worked as a medical assistant for years and understand if a new patient who has never been seen has a concern they will address the concern but ask to schedule a new patient exam to go over the history due to appointment times. I would not recommend this pediatric clinic as they are uneducated and unprofessional.

I have been taking my kiddo to Pediatric Associates for a year now. I can honestly say we couldn’t be any happier. We have seen three of the doctors here and have been beyond impressed with the concern and support we have received. Each time I call to make an appointment the scheduler is always extremely pleasant and helpful. The ladies at check in and check out are always so friendly and I love how they interact with the kids as well. The nurses are so amazing with my kiddo and visits are always super pleasant and easy. This office is so much more than what we’ve had in the past and we are extremely thankful for everyone here.

This place is a joke. It’s been awful for over 17 years. I have 3 kids, they have all seen several doctors in this group. I have so many stories of different incompetent doctors.
We have had positive lab results that they never informed us of, they started calling me weeks later and trying to cover their butts.
We have had emergency hospital visits where my son’s life is on the line and the doctor just leaves to attend a funeral, leaving him to be tortured by the MMH incompetent staff. They made horrible decisions for a 7 day old baby with RSV. It was only until GJ NICU came down that they finally could get an IV and take care of my baby.
I’ve had a doctor argue with me that Colic is not a Gut related issue, it’s just ā€œcoincidenceā€ they happen at the same time šŸ™„ then about 5 yrs later it’s added to their literature that they are actually related and is mostly the cause of Colic is gut health, Wow imagine that!
Fast forward 10 or so years…we try them again, we needed something fast for my sick kids so I came here. We had to have labs at the hospital done and it was like pulling teeth for pediatrics to give me the results! They would not email or fax them. I could not get a doctor to call me back. My kid was getting worse and they kept saying, sorry the doctors not in yet today, we have to wait for her. Seriously you guys are a group of 6 or more doctors and no one can help us and give us the medicine we need!
Then when she finally contacted me, she would not write a prescription for the meds he needed! She just says ā€œgive it a few more daysā€ when it had already been over 2 weeks of sickness and missing school. I then had to go to urgent care for a different doctor to actually write the prescription he needed. This group of doctors is a joke, do not take your kids here. Do NOT recommend!

We have received excellent care at Pediatric Associates since moving here a little over a year ago. The whole staff is friendly and helpful and has gone out of their way to help with paperwork or connect us with specialists. Every provider we’ve seen has been caring, knowledgeable, and generous of their time. It is always easy to get an appointment and we have never waited long once we’ve arrived. Dr. Miller, my kids’ regular pediatrician, is empathetic and observant and worked quickly to have us seen by a specialist when we needed it. I appreciate the regular follow-up everyone in the practice provides. I am also grateful to Pediatrics for speaking up on behalf of the safety of our children during this ongoing global pandemic at a time when most others in this community have chosen to bury their heads in the sand.

Pediatric Associates is filled with loving, compassionate, and competent staff from the front desk, to nurses, to the doctors. Everyone I know has been extremely impressed with them unless it is a person who is unsatisfied with everything in life. (They don’t even know who they are, sadly.) My very first experience with them was with a potential adoption. I wasn’t even a client and Dr. Meo spent a great deal of time researching and talking to people at Children’s Hospital in Denver. When my own son was born they were amazing! Each doctor I have met, I have liked more than the last. It is an amazing group of doctors who support patients in a variety of ways throughput our community. They are a blessing to our community.
