Great Way Chinese Martial Arts Center is really a whole lifestyle approach to Martial Arts and Kung Fu. Through learning here, you don’t just receive a martial training, you get to work on your internal “world” through meditation, but also your external barrier and availability to that which is around you through energy work. It’s one thing to have a great work out and learn a martial art skill over the years, it’s different to be taught the deeper purpose of these trainings and to cultivate a stronger person from the inside out.

My granddaughter has attended Great Way Chinese Martial Arts Center in Longmont for four years, When she started, she was very shy and had low self esteem and confidence. Under the teaching, guidance and encouragement of Sifu Keller and all the positive and caring instructors at Great Way, I have watched her blossom and gain self confidence in herself.

I also marvel and respect how Sifu Keller is always available for any of his students who may need someone to talk to and that he has made the classes affordable for all.

I came to Sifu Keller at Great Way looking for a better, healthier way to deal with debilitating stress, anxiety, and panic attacks, and I cannot recommend this kwoon highly enough. Sifu Keller and the other instructors are kind, patient, and very knowledgeable. They not only teach the physical aspects/movements of Tai Chi, but they also concentrate on the mental, psychological, and energetic aspects, and they seamlessly weave them all together in their instruction. I've only been at Great Way for about 8 months, but what Sifu Keller has taught me so far has literally saved my life, and I cannot thank him enough. It is because of Great Way that I regained control of my life, and I will continue studying and practicing Tai Chi for the rest of it.

My son has been going here for a little over a year after transferring from another local Martial Arts school. He loves his classes and Sifu Keller. My son is very shy and I appreciate that Sifu Keller is insightful enough to push him just enough-too much and he would shut down; instead he is blossoming into a more confident and capable young man. I've been taking Tai Chi classes at Great Way for about 9 months and have been deeply impressed with the degree of thoughtful, scaffolded support and personalized guidance embedded in the training. I began as a novice, with little balance or control, and have been mindfully coached at each step, with a careful balance between making progress while developing a sense of success. I trained with Sifu Keller many years ago, and I have recently decided to continue my
training as his student. I have been studying at his Longmont school for the past 2 years and I find his teaching method to be very effective for me. While still teaching the physical concepts of the martial arts(forms, weapons, fighting form, and self defense), he is very willing to teach the more advanced concepts that help you improve mentally and spiritually(Tai Chi, Qi Gong, and meditation).

While the physical, mental, and spiritual aspects are a must for any student learning martial arts, what makes Sifu Keller's school special is that he not only helps inspire you to become a better martial artist and practitioner, but a better person as well.

One of the best Martial Schools out there. Haven't found one that comes close to the exceptional teaching skills! Althoug it's been 10 plus years since we trained there my kids and I still miss it and talk about all the good times we had there.
