If you are looking to get your private pilot certificate, look no further than Grand Mesa Aviation in Delta, Colorado. I have nothing but good things to say about Jonathan and crew. (They offer accelerated time frames as well as normal, longer, time frames.)
Thank you Keegan Eddy and Jonathan Mast for helping me achieve something difficult in a short amount of time (12 days to be exact), without sacrificing safety, education, or quality of instruction.
The plane and instructors are top notch and make learning to fly a great experience!

Great people and great airplane! Doyle Young has been my instructor and has successfully gotten me back in the air after 25years! It has been a pleasure working with him.

You will notice immediately that he loves his job and enjoys teaching others as much as he does flying. He works just as hard at being a great instructor as I do in trying to gain proficiency as a pilot.

The airplane is in beautiful condition and is a pleasure to fly. It’s stored in a nice hangar with heat/ac in the office.

I met Johnathon, the owner. he will strike you as a good guy just like his employees.

I can’t say enough good things about the people, the atmosphere, the airplane, the runway.

Jonathon’s excellent flight and ground instruction made it possible to complete my Commercial Pilot training. I could tell from our first flight that he is a very intuitive instructor and competent pilot. He was able to help me through the nuances of the commercial maneuvers and he has made me a better pilot. I have already talked to a couple budding private students who will be coming your way. I would definitely recommend using Grand Mesa Aviation if you want to get your private pilots license. He did a good job of explaining what we where going to do before we did it so I knew what to expect. He made it a fun relaxing flight.
