Awesome resort! Anything from beginner terrain to double diamond extreme! See forever was breathtaking! We managed to ride over 20 miles on snowboards in 6 hours one day! One downside is they need better lifts, more updated lifts. One lift broke down and people had to get rescued! They need some bubble chairs and more trail serviced gondolas, for the price they charge for a lift ticket, there's no reason they shouldn't have nicer lifts.

One of the best places in Colorado for skiing ⛷️. Though I visited during summers yet most uphill trails were shut for the walking , hiking or cycling . The gondola is an excellent means of commute from most hotels either in the mountain village or telluride town . There are three stops from the town to the mountain village and offer jaw dropping views.

Great mountain with lots of varied terrain for all skier skill levels. I had an excellent ski instructor named Cliff who provided great insight into skiing moguls, steeps, and trees. Although the snow pack isn’t that great this year, there’s enough snow to enjoy the mountain. As a bonus, the lines were minimal so there’s a very short wait time to get on the chair or gondola.

I've been skiing here since the 80's. When the Mountain Village concept was proposed it seemed so grand. Well, 40 years later, it is. Telluride is such a great mountain to ski. There are loads of trails for every level of skier. Lift lines are practically non-existent. I taught my son to ski here and now he's ski patrol. Love Telluride.

The moment you set foot on these hallowed slopes, you are greeted with a breathtaking panorama that seems to be plucked from the dreams of an artist. The powder here? Pure, unadulterated bliss. It glistens like fresh diamonds, waiting to be carved with reckless abandon. The terrain caters to every level of expertise, from the timid novice to the audacious daredevil — all welcomed with open arms.

And let us not forget the après-ski scene, which, I assure you, is nothing short of sublime. Cozy up next to a roaring fire with a glass of something delightful — perhaps a fine cabernet, or if you're feeling particularly adventurous, a warm shot of bourbon — while the day’s exploits are recounted with enthusiasm that rivals a Shakespearean drama.

In every corner, one can find the kind of charm that turns mere visitors into lifelong devotees. The locals are as warm and welcoming as the fires they stoke, ready to regale you with stories of the mountain and its many secrets.

Beautiful town with great skiing! Crowds are at a minimum. Lots of mixed terrain for any level.

Telluride is beautiful and quaint but as am adult learner I realized after the trip that Telluride is not that beginner friendly, for an absolute beginner learning in her 50s. Even my instructor who was excellent told me as much. The green run they take you down on the lesson has a couple of steep dips, especially the last bit that ends in the chair lift. With tons of people grouped around at the base at the lift, various runs all converging, skiers and snowboarders zipping down at top speed, it's very intimidating for a newbie. There are all these big helpful signs saying "SLOW!", but hey, that's my problem! I am not very confident slowing down on a steep run. If I was , I wouldn't need a $1,000 day private lesson.

Telluride isn't very diverse, of course majority of the population is floating and come in for the snow sports. Other than me, I saw only one other non White person skiing during my stay. One white guest at my hotel asked me if I was the cleaning lady. I said no, and asked him if he was the cleaning man! He looked like I'd slapped him. To his credit he apologized later, but hey buddy, don't go around assuming a brown woman with black hair in a ski town exists just to clean up after you.

One of the best resorts in Colorado. For sure a trip from Denver but worth the drive. The mountain village is a bit gaudy but skiing into telluride is spectacular.
