Visited the Deco Lounge to view visiting artist's embroidery works by Rob Watt. They are beautiful! View is from outside the Deco Lounge, but you can also see from inside.

We come down from Denver for a visit every 3 or 4 months. Love the Southwestern art exhibit. You won't find a larger array of Spanish Colonial art, including 200 year old retablos and statues anywhere else in the West - unless you're in Santa Fe. There are always a number of rotating exhibits that are well done.

My friend and I visited on a free day to see the Chihuly blown glass exhibit - his work is absolutely incredible! Also enjoyed other art exhibits throughout various rooms and hallways. Plan to visit more often.

The Fine Arts Center at Colorado College combines art galleries with a performance space - which makes a great combo allowing you to browse art before catching a show.

The theater is moderately sized with great views from every seat. We went for opening night of RENT and the production was remarkable - a great performance we enjoyed.

Recommend checking out their calendar for upcoming shows and booking show tickets in advance.

"City Dog and Prairie Dog" was a very complex story told in the most delightful way. Friendship to keystone species (!) were covered. The two actors spoke and sang seamlessly between English and Spanish. Very impressive.

I purchased 3 tickets for the front row center section for opening night of Dial M for Murder at least a month in advance. When we arrived for the show we were not allowed in because the tickets had been "exchanged". The box office said our seats were moved to row C in the far left section because the set obstructed the view of the play from our purchased seats. However, during the play other people sat in our front row seats and there was no detectable obstruction of the view at all. From our far left seats, however, the view was obstructed repeatedly throughout the play.
It appears that someone in the box office gave our front row seats to friends and moved us to whatever seats were available at the time. A gentleman wearing a gold sequined jacket in the box office plainly just lied by saying the view was obstructed. Otherwise, why were other people sitting in our purchased seats?
I have purchased similar seats for shows coming in December and May. I want and fully expect to receive the seats I paid for at the shows.
I am extremely disappointed in the lack integrity at a theatre I have loved and supported for over 25 years, and I hope they will correct this situation.
Except for this problem with the box office, the play was excellent and would receive a 5 star review.
