I don’t understand why therapy pool is broken down. This is something that’s in need for many people in that area for their health ADA and the hot tub is always breaking down. There are people who pay monthly to go there to that facility. It seems to me that they’re lacking in getting things done in a timely matter. Also, I noticed They don’t put a tarp or some sort of covering on the outside hot tub, which they should because leaves are getting there and this is why it breaks down. There’s a lot of things that they need to update in that place and they seem to not do it. Complain too many rules for the pool especially the lazy river. I believe that when people wanna go in there and do their exercise children shouldn’t be in there. It’s bad enough that the lap pool is taken over by swim classes most of the time and kids most of the time and when the lab pool is open from 330 to 5 or 430, the lifeguards will not let anybody do at their laps Until it’s open for the swim classes, I feel this is not fair to people who pay to go to this facility. Sorry, just my opinion but anyway, otherwise the staff is nice lifeguards are very good and it’s very clean.

Everything is clean and neat. Family rooms available.

There are books you can borrow, and greeting cards you can buy.

Nice warm therapy pools and outdoor hot tub.

In the entrance area there is a sign that says you are not welcome except if you have paid to be there.

The are only three lap lanes and they are usually full.

No centrifuge to reduce water in your swim suit like Englewood center has.

Lazy river has cool fans blowing on you so uncomfortable. Elderly lady at desk is a nut case trump meany.

Love this place! Clean, large, and eclectic! The only gripe i have (and it's mostly between South suburban and Leawood) is that even though we have a littleton address, we still pay out of residence rates. But the cost delta is so nominal it's more of an annoyance than anything. Great swim lessons for little ones.

Looks fun, IT ISN'T! Not a "community" pool in the slightest. Kids pool/Lazy river was super cold and the sprayers didn't work. Had three kids 6-12 and they were bored after 20 minutes. Only had the lazy river, otherwise the lane pool was for swimmers, the "therapy pool" was only for adults on a Sunday even then they had to be under 4 or over 18 other days and then there's the kiddie pool for babies. They couldn't play with the gobs of pool noodles because some kids had been biting them, adults only. They could play with the water weights. They could only be in the Lazy river. Their hours are about as bad. On a Saturday they have adult swim for 5 hours in the morning and 3.75 for the kids, on a SATURDAY. Seems very geared towards senior citizens, which is fine but kids really are made to feel unwelcome here. Will NOT be back.

I agree with many other reviews on here. Has great amenities, classes and very close to where I work. The staff is attentive, professional and make patrons and guests feel at ease. I go to swim laps and workout and like how everything is clean from the men's locker room to the cardio and weight room equipment and pool. My only criticisms include: there are three lap lanes for swimming; the pool does get crowded in the morning at times where we end up sharing lanes and the facility opens a little later on the weekends. Overall, not a bad place but you might have to wait a while for certain amenities until patrons finish.

There is an older lady that works at the front desk (has a short walking cane I believe) and she is very rude. She's been rude to me and I've watched her be rude to other people. I try to avoid her when I check-in. She never greets people and seems to be on a bit of a power trip. I'm not sure why she's still employed. Running into her is just a bad way to start your workout.

The therapy pool is sometimes too cold and the lane pool is often too cold.

There are a lot of senior citizens that work out here and I do see a lot of families with children going to tbe swim area.

Perhaps it's their management? - the staff overall doesn't seem very happy to be there (or maybe it's that co-worker I mentioned?)

The workout area is a medium-sized space and doesn't often get crowded.

Really nice rec ctr. All the weight and cardio machines needed. Aquatic ctr has lap pool plus kiddie pool and lazy river that has a very good current. But the 90 degree therapy pool is my favorite.

The gym area is well-equipped with modern exercise machines and free weights, making it suitable for both beginners and advanced fitness enthusiasts. I particularly appreciated the cleanliness and organization of the space, as well as the availability of staff to assist with any questions or concerns.

The aquatic center is another highlight. The swimming pool is spacious and well-maintained, providing a great environment for both lap swimming and casual enjoyment. Additionally, the water aerobics classes are a fun and effective way to stay active.

The recreational areas, including the basketball courts are also top-notch. They provide ample space for various sports and activities, encouraging a sense of community among participants.
