Coming to this hobby lobby sucked so much, and that’s coming from a person who’s worked at a different hobby lobby for 5+ years. while deciding what beads I should get, I guess I was taking a long time deciding because the general manager comes up to me, and mentions that “I’m taking too much space up in the isle”, which I thought was a joke so I laughed. Not 5 minutes later, she scoffs and rudely tells me that “I’m taking forever and I need to pick a side of the isle or get out of her way.” I have never seen a manager act this way towards any customer, and it was insanely immature and unacceptable. I’d hate to work for this woman, as she seems like a nightmare to be around. I cannot see myself shopping at this hobby lobby again, and the rest of management seriously needs to get her to calm down to the customers.

Found exactly what I was looking for and when I needed more, at least 4 staff members cooperated to find it for me, going so far as to dig thru new truck delivery. Saved me a trip to a different store! Store is clean, roomy and pretty well stocked.

Hobby Lobby would do well to assess their sales signage to avoid the appearance of "bait and switch" tactics! Apparently, customers are supposed to be able to intuit what the store really means when multiple large "percent off" signs all over a given display don't actually include most of the items they are plastered across. And it's so misleading that you get to look like a jerk at checkout despite raising valid questions - and even pictures - of the displays. I felt very tricked by such signage, which I was subsequently told were meant to exclude almost all the items right around them, and for not somehow intuiting their very vague and arguably simply misleading (and microscopic) writing about all tags that say "Your Price". I was supposed to somehow know that such tags mean all these items arrived at the store already "on sale". So all these items weren't actually on sale despite the many % off sale signs all over them. Yea...what?!?

Then to be treated rudely, talked at like I'm an idiot, or worse, some kind of cheat, really leaves me not wanting to do any further shopping with Hobby Lobby! I tried to remain rational as I do not like even minor conflict, so as I left I offered sincere thanks to the manager for resolving this matter in an acceptable way, but it seemed she did not want to do anything but give me a very unpleasant face. Ouch!

I always love going to this store. Especially when they are having a great sale, like they are now. 50% off of wall decor! Wow, other things are anywhere from 20%-40% off. You can't beat it! The fall decor this year is so pretty. You gotta go check it out..... NOW! 🤗
