Should be negative 5 stars. Audience of One Youth Theater is a money grab preying on the hopes and dreams of young children not a professional and valuable youth theater. Probably great if your looking for an expensive bible study experience for your child and to just get once a week child care for a couple of hours. Horrible if your looking for a theater experience for your child. Once your child gets any little part they will consistently ask the parents for more and more fees and donations. Audience of One will overcast the show so good luck on your child even being on stage at all. The staff is rude and have their favorites, if your kid is not a favorite they will be board after a couple of "rehearsals" and it will be a challenge getting them to want to return. The end production was low quality, probably because the "rehearsal" time was spent on bible study. If a parent wants to complain or voice an opinion they charge a $12 fee for that and will just gaslight you and your child so I suggest not wasting your $12 on that. At least Audience of One Youth Theater did show my child what fraud, misrepresentation and gaslighting looks like.

Absolutely nothing professional about this. In the final play, you couldn’t even hear the children. Microphone way too far from the stage. Mumbled. If you can’t even run a Sound-system, don’t call yourself professional. They said they’re open to everyone, but then found it in necessary to pray to Jesus before the start of the show. Fine for Sunday school but otherwise save your money.

As an actor, assistant director, tech member, and family member or Audience of One, I can say with out a doubt that this is the BEST youth theater company in Colorado. Everyone is so welcoming to the younger cast members, while the older cast members get high quality voice coaching, amazing choreography, and superb direction from our artistic team, all while putting amazing shows from Fiddler on the Roof to The Little Mermaid, and Mary Poppins to James and the Giant Peach. Keep doing what you do, and you will continue to flourish.

Audience of One is a great organization that gives kids and teens the opportunity to learn theater skills and acting skills. A multitude of musicals, workshops and plays gives kids ample opportunities to find something they like, and the productions are quite good.
