Heard about this place from a work friend that swears her kids are good swimmers because of the classes they took here. My child has been attending for about a year and a half, and he is a great swimmer! He has progressed through three levels! He loves earning the stars and feedback from the app and feels like the classes are fun. Occasionally he’ll have a hard time with the increased turnover of the staff there, however, I feel like that is what has helped him gain adaptability skills and additional swimming skills. More instructors means more exposure to teaching styles which matches more learning styles. I LOVE the cancellation policy! With how much kids get sick or life happens, it’s nice to know I still get what I paid for. The front desk staff are always kind, helpful, and welcoming. I’d recommend this place again and again!

Leila has been a wonderful instructor. She gives clear instructions for what we need to do and what we can do to help our Littles while they learn to swim. She also explains why we do things the way we do which is helpful so that we can do it correctly. This has also been such a great bonding experience for myself and my child, we look forward to swim day every week. Not only that, but we get to have fun while learning how to be safe in the water. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and the facility is very nice, especially considering it is in a strip mall. All around, we love Aqua-Tots! Thank you so much for this wonderful experience 🙂

My almost four year old daughter has been going to AquaTots for over a year now, and she LOVES it! Because of these lessons she is much more confident and strong in the water.

I love that AquaTots has a Special Needs Adaptive Program for my daughter which allows her to get one on one lessons with the most skilled instructors. The staff has always been wonderful about providing any accommodations my daughter has needed. The staff is friendly, helpful, and kind. I also love the make up lesson policy which allows us to reschedule lessons when our weekly lesson isn’t always at the best time on a given week. I would definitely recommend AquaTots to anyone with small children.

Also, I appreciate how clean the pool and changing rooms are.

We had a terrible first experience here. We received a text about 30 mins before our first class that classes were delayed 15 minutes. That was no problem, we’d adjust. After showing up to class it was completely unwelcoming and there was no information provided about the facility, our membership we had just signed up for, what to expect, etc. After waiting in the lobby for about 15-20 mins, they announced all classes for the morning would be cancelled. Upon reading reviews further, it appears this is a common occurrence. I reached out to receive a refund for my classes and membership and was told they don’t process refunds and it’s in the terms and conditions waiver I signed. I think it’s ridiculous a refund can’t be processed given they’ve failed to deliver a service. Even if we hadn’t wanted to cancel our membership, the facility is going to be closed for a week and therefore 3 out of the 4 classes for the month we would have been signed up for have been cancelled outside of our control. I’ve signed my daughter up at a different facility for swim lessons and it has already been a night and day difference in experience.

Honestly the quality has gone so far down hill. When we started it was great but now they seem to have high turnover and very little class availability. They do issue make up classes but it’s hard to even find a time to use them as when I tried booking they would cancel the make up lesson. Also, they tried to kick my daughter out of her scheduled class for another kid even though she has been in it for months at that point. They focus very heavily on being able to perfectly do a stroke but do not teach kids how to tread water safely. The fact the deepest part of the pool is 4’ makes it very hard for older kids to get skills for being in water where they cannot touch the bottom. I felt like they kept my kiddo in the same level for way to long and it was always different if one instructor felt like she was ready to move verses another. I feel this should be standardized. Also, last time we came in I asked about ending our classes and the girl at the front desk told me to fill out the paper next time and we would be done. I went to do it today and was informed I had to give 30 DAYS NOTICE. Which is obviously much different than their other staff member said. I’m very unsatisfied at this point why would I want to continue coming. It’s not like this place is exactly cheap. But requiring 30 days to cancel is a bit obscene especially when your staff did not mention that when I tried to cancel last month. So I guess we will continue to come for another month but I will not be recommending this school to any parent.

Great programming, but just very, very bad logistics. They’re cancelling or rescheduling classes within an hour of lessons, not always with any notice. You cant schedule updates to your schedule or make ups until less than two weeks out, and the transition for level ups is terrible. My level 3 kid leveled up from parent tot 3 weeks ago and the system still hasn’t updated so I’ve showed up 3 times and he’s had a level 2 class, but no adult to swim with because I hadn’t anticipated needing a swimsuit. I’m tired of showing up for classes that don’t exist or were changed while I was en route, and dealing with crying upset kids on the way home. 50% of your classes will turn into makeups and you’ll never use them so the actual cost for classes is at least twice as expensive as is quoted and lesson times are half of what is quoted. The staff is wonderful and doing the best they can, the setup is just as unfair to them as it is to the clients. The high turnover rate makes sense.

The instructors are all very nice and seem to care about the kids’ growth in swimming. However, some issues we have run into are one of our Minnow’s classes had SIX toddlers in it one time. So that’s 12 bodies in one part of the pool, not including the instructor. It was a waste of a class for sure. They issue “make up” classes for pre-cancelled classes or when they mess up (i.e. six students in one class when the cap is four) which in theory is great, but I imagine most people like us have the class time and day selected that they do because that’s when they are available. If I had to cancel the class for a reason, whatever, but when its on Aqua-Tots, and it was not up to us that the class was ruined or missed, I would want to use my “make up” classes for that class schedule, or get refunded.

UPDATE - It’s been a week and no one has called or contacted me. I cancelled our lessons.

This place has gone downhill since we started a year ago. I logged into the app this morning to check on our makeup classes only to find we have been completely unenrolled from our class we’ve been in for the last year. No warning or no communication from Aqua Tots at all. Why? I called to check on it today and was told “you’re fine to come but the class is now full.” Makes no sense, I never unenrolled us from the class so we should have two spots for our twins. The past few weeks we’ve had a different teacher every class. The teacher told us last week there was actually no teacher assigned to our class and she didn’t know who our teacher would be. Very reassuring, not! When it’s a different teacher each week they don’t get to know the kids and their skills/abilities. It’s like starting over with someone new each week.

So as of right now we are paid for September but they cancelled our enrollment in class for some unknown reason. So we paying for classes but aren’t enrolled? Huge problem!

We’ve now had 3 different teachers, class starts 15+ minutes late each week, and each teacher provides totally different feedback and it’s confusing. Our son has been going for a year and just a few weeks ago the instructor said he doesn’t know how to hold his breath. I appreciate her concern for his safety but how is this just now coming up after a year of classes?! The feedback isn’t consistent at all (feels like no one knows what they’re doing) and nor is the curriculum between all the instructors.
