I L-O-V-E this amazing church!
Pastor Gino is absolutely amazing! He truly knows The Word and is passionate about teaching it! He is a true scholar and puts SO MUCH dedication preparing his messages! His sermons are STELLAR! The women's ministry is EXCELLENT lead by Pastor Gino' s wife Mary who truly and wholeheartedly LOVES "her ladies". Her Bible studies are the best places to meet other wonderful ladies while studying The Word and having wonderful fellowship. The women's discipleship team lead by Cindy is THE BEST!! Cindy is so knowledgeable!!
Children's ministry is AMAZING lead by Kendall who is a total sweetheart who has a Jesus heart for kids!
Overall the staff is welcoming, friendly, sweet and loving to everybody! I LOVE CSD!!!

We have been going to Calvary South Denver for a year and a half, now. I find that Pastor Gino Geraci is a very compassionate man and very well spoken. He often comes to the coffee shop after service to talk with people. He always has a smile on his face. When he talks about the Lord, often times he will tear up. His sermons are like a university dissertation. I hired a man who volunteers at the church who had a sketchy past. He had turned his life around. He is an excellent worker for our company. Pastor Gino wrote a letter of recommendation for him which helped the man a lot and impressed me that he really cares about all people. If you want sound, Biblical teaching with a depth which will stir your heart, this is the right place.

Calvary is a great church. The worship is fantastic and the people are very loving. There is never a day when you come for service that you don't get a hug or a hand shake from one of the ushers. Gino is a loving pastor who encourages you to be a good Barian and test all things with scripture. As with all churches it is important to get involved to get to know the people but there are plenty of places to serve. Also stopping in at the cafe allows you to mingle and get to know the people. There is something nearly every day with service Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesdays and small groups as well as bible studies nearly everyday. I feel blessed to be a part of this church body.

Great church and gifted pastor. If you want expository preaching, you have come to the right place. All Calvary churches preach the bible chapter by chapter, verse by verse. I personally love that versus topical as you get the entirety of the bible, and passage being preached on is always in context of the intended message. No conjuring here (claiming something is not what it was supposed to be)! Gino is funny too and does some great impressions. If you want to know what he is like before attending, check out the sermon archive or listen to his radio show on KRKS from 4-6 every day. You will get an accurate feel for who he is and what the church is about. I have been coming here for about 5 years and have never felt an iron hand or an uncaring spirit. I do feel convicted by my sin from time to time but that is for me to work out with God and I can't beat the messenger for that, now can I?

I'm reading the negative responses from a while ago and they sound foreign to the experience I've had. I actually gave it more than one sermon! I've searched Denver for 2 years and a handful of churches. I was looking for a church that taught Truth; I didn't want entertainment. I was looking for a Pastor with a heart for God and His people. I was looking for a Pastor that new his Bible. I found that with Gino and the church. It's large enough to visit and observe and small enough to make personal connections. It allowed me, and still does, to be part of a loving group with a heart for Christ. If you're looking for an amazing church and message, you owe it to yourself to visit Calvary South!

This morning I had the privilege to listen to Pastor Gino. I live in Chicago, Illinois and came across his message on Joshua 5. He delivered truth and was easy to understand how he broke apart this chapter that I was seeking more information on.

Thank you for this, you blessed me from miles away and I appreciate technology for this very reason.

Love and miss that church so much! Wish we didn't move away. Loving congregation, biblically sound principles taught straight out of the bible verse by verse. Nothing added or taken away from it. Just taught ad it is in the bible. People who don't like the teachings usually don't like it because they don't like hearing the truth about the bible and what is written. Pastor Ginishing does a great job at sharing Gods teachings and sharing God's love with others.
