Wow what a great place to celebrate the 4th of July! Met a lot of wonderful people. The planes did fly byes and there were fire trucks to explore and awesome car show! The food was 😋 delicious! As well as lemonade and yummy root beer floats courtesy of the brave and dashing Leadville fire dept.

Just awesome! Did a seven-state cross-country flight for multiple days and ended up in Leadville by recommendation from other FBO, and Leadville was by far our favourite stop. Stunning views, self service fuel, and most of all, extremely professional and friendly staff, highly recommended!

Had the opportunity many, many years ago to do a flight from here while training for my PPL. Coming from a near sea level airport, the density altitude made my take off from LXV got my attention real quick! Gotta know what you're doing when flying from here. What a GREAT place and a great memory!!!

This review is irrelevant to today, about 30 years ago, but a memory I will cherish forever. As a private pilot driving a semi from North Carolina to Grand Junction, I just had to see this airport. When I arrived I was greeted warmly. There were 2 sisters running the operation. They invited me to enjoy coffee and pastry. I hear a call for clearance on the radio and a Chinook helicopter lands blowing snow everywhere. The crew gets out, and joins us for coffee. These guys were so affable and skilled. We talked, they left and I was in awe. Thanks for a memory that lasts a lifetime.
