My son struggled so much in school until this year. The teachers are wonderful and have communicated with me to help my son succeed in school. His grades are amazing and we are so proud of him. I believe this is because he has a great "team" trying to help him do his best. I cannot express how great the communication is. They may be a little "behind curriculum" as people have stated, but if more parents would care or take part in their children's grades and schoolwork like they should, the school might be able to move forward. It's got to be hard to teach more when so many students are failing or not understanding what they are currently teaching. I have had issues with one teacher, but pointed out my concerns and they were addressed. Lake County offers amazing opportunities to these kids for graduation, such as taking college classes while in high school and graduating with an Associates degree and graduating with a certificate in certain trades to prepare them for a career. There aren't too many schools that offer these types of programs at no extra cost to the student or the parents to prepare them for their future.

Horrible schools! They are way behind in curriculum. Kids need to try harder!? How do you try harder when you learned the stuff they are teaching in 4th grade?
They have very little parent involvement at the schools. Just horrible schools. Glad we are moving.
