Our son went from studying basic curriculum & being disinterested at another school to thriving, enjoying history, learning to play the piano, learning Latin & truly being comfortable in his environment. Our family loves this school, what they stand for and education our kids are getting.

We have been at GVCA since the inauguration and couldn’t be happier. The core values that our children are learning daily are why we strongly believe in this school. The principle, teachers, and school staff are top notch and care about the students. The curriculum makes my children excited to go to school every day. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for GVCA!

Being a student here, it is the worst school you can send a child too. It may look from the outside to be a good school, but deep down 90% of students don't want to be there and desire to switch schools in a heartbeat. One of the bad teachers here is Mr. Pang who should be out of a job but is being protected by the school for harassing me almost daily. Hw should not work at this school or any school system ever. Don't go here and you'll be saved from multiple headaches.

I have two children attending Golden View Classical Academy. The academic program is solid using a proven model of direct instruction. Kids are engaged in the classroom and the program is content rich, rather than the standards-based programs found in many schools today. As a parent, I also like the focus on virtue and developing good people, with the tools to flourish and develop into happy adults. The staff is high quality and I've been very pleased with the leadership and vision of the school.

In terms of the classical program, this is an American classical education. There is a strong emphasis on the history and principles that led to the founding of our country as a nation of self-governing people. These ideas culminate in the high school program where students learn Latin, a structured history and literature sequence that begins with the Ancients, or classics, covers Western Civilization, and spends a lot of time on American history, with a three semester course on the topic. The high school program also requires Moral Philosophy, American Government with thorough treatment of the Declaration, Constitution, and Federalist Papers, and a great economics course with a focus on the importance of free-enterprise.

Golden View Classical Academy is a wonderful school. The teachers and staff truly put the best interest of the kids first. Values are a part of the key curriculum, which is something missing from most schools. I would recommend this school to anyone.

Golden view is a school.

What can be said about Golden View. I find that there are two people that go to Golden View Classical Academy, those who blindly follow whatever the school says to do, or those who take their anger out on Golden View for external reasons, maybe they don't have friends or their parents send them there without spite.

As someone who not only went to the Golden View and had the choice to stay there, I can say its a decent school. The defining feature of Golden View is the classes: the students actually take classes where they not only learn new things well but are as well challenged to not only become better students but better people. If you want your child to have a good education and moral understanding of the world, I would recommend Golden View.

The teachers here are decent, especially the teachers who teach core classes. They care about their job and love teaching others, and care about bettering their students. Some teachers are weird, but still care, just are exhilarating like a pang in the night . The worse teacher I have had at Golden View was, a long time ago, an art teacher who crammed a dead, mummified bird in a box and called it a still life, but she had been removed swiftly.

The uniform is terrible, because the school colors for the uniform are terrible. The uniform polos seem to add or take off 5 pounds, depending on the student, and formal Wednesday's requirements produce an outfit that stands out with dissonance..

The main problem with Golden View is the student culture: the lack of different types of people at Golden View often makes it harder for others to make friends, and usually ending up settling to people they would normally be friends with in real life, causing personality clashes and drama, but that's really only in extreme cases. The majority of students you will meet at Golden View will are trying their best to be good students, some to their advantages or disadvantages. The senior class of 2019, is a great example of this they care about each other and have built a community around that. Other students I have noticed will acts as sycophants to teachers to boost their grades and seem appreciated, for example a many kids, who are known for being uncooperative and rude to others, frequently tries to make up for their lack of social understanding by relying on sycophantic conversations with teachers during a class, to then immediately go out and stalk popular kids.. If your child struggles with people (not to be confused with an introvert) keeping him or her home schooled is probably the better choice.

Golden View is a good school for the socially adept, for those willing to take harder classes, and for those who don't mind a uniform. You can either take the brown pill, and have a boring education, or the blue and gold pill, for a better education.

They don't make schools any better than this one. Skips out on the robotic teaching to the test that seems to happen at every other Jeffco public school. Do your kids the best favor of their lives and send them here for a real education beyond the world of standardized tests. Art, Music, and other important topics long forgotten in most schools are still taught here.

Bullying is embraced at this school. Last year my daughter was bullied for 45 days straight at school and at home over social media. School did nothing but recommend to my daughter that she stop letting outside influences cloud her education and was trying to have her repeat her grade so the girls couldn't see eachother. Seriously?!? 5 girls ganged up on her in the lunch room. Teacher saw it and walked away!! I have countless emails to prove this review!

The parents are truly just as bad. I was a volunteer at the school for the evening school line. I am helping their kids into their car and not one mother would acknowledge my existence standibg at their car door. Proves money does not buy class!!!

I was and am still truly disappointed!!
