My child has been at YPLC for more than three years. It's our last year at the Plum school before heading to elementary school. We'll miss it!

My child loves the teachers and has made good friends here. Teachers are very patient and there's good communication with us. My child enjoys activities like art, walks and free time, and also likes the structure their daily schedule provides. The backyard has the space kids need to run around and they spend a lot of time outside, which is great. They have extra curricular activities like yoga, Spanish and water days, which expose the kids to new things. You can tell staff put a lot of time and energy into planning fun and educational activities.

Administrative staff and the owners hold regular family/staff meetings to update families on what's coming up and give guardians opportunities to provide feedback. They also seem to care about their staff and want them to feel supported.

Our little guy has been going here for over a year now. He loves it so much. He has learned so much over this past year. It's amazing to see him grow and learn so much in such a small amount of time. We love all of the teachers and team members who help make this place a wonderful teaching place hands down best place to take your kiddos!

We're incredibly grateful to have our son at YPLC. He has Down syndrome, and prior to this experience, had only been in specialized child care centers. When we felt he was ready for more integration, we visited YPLC, and Jordi, the director, immediately put us at ease with her excitement to meet our son and passion for caring for kids with a range of abilities. Now, roughly a year in, he clearly feels at home here, and we see the acceptance and love he receives from his peers and caregivers every time we're in the building.

My daughter has been at the Plum Street location for years and was at the Mathews Street Toddler location before that. YPLC has been so wonderful for her! We are always so impressed by her progress and the work they do with her. The schools both have a homey feel, which I really appreciate. The teachers are very interactive and send multiple updates throughout the day with how our daughter is doing behaviorally, how much of her lunch she ate, when she went to the bathroom (which was so great when she was newly-potty trained), and occasionally with fun photos of her day! Many of the parents of the children in her class are teachers themselves, and I think that says a lot.
Our daughter has has flourished at YPLC, and I am confident that she is well-prepared for Kindergarten in the fall.

My twins have been students with YPLC since 2022. Our family appreciates and admires the consistency YPLC provides - the daily routines, education and longevity of staff is helping our kids thrive in all areas. Mr. Nate, Ms. Maddie, Ms. Mazzy, Ms. Burgundy and so many others have helped provide a comfortable atmosphere during the day and provides us with peace of mind.

LOVE LOVE LOVE it here. They keep AMAZING staff and I can leave my girl knowing she’s safe, loved, and taken care of. She has been there since 1 year of age and has THRIVED. I don’t know what I would do without them!!! The updates throughout the day and the photos they share are reassuring and make my day! Thank you for taking care of my baby so that I can work and provide for her!!

I'm very picky where I send my kids, and i am really glad I chose YPLC! My daughter has loved the preschool! My son loved teen camp- SO sad that it went away. The administration and most teachers are just wonderful- sweet and understanding and helpful. Our only real difficulties here have been around potty training my daughter- a couple teachers pushed her before she was ready, against my wishes, which led to a slow, messy process. The transition between owners has been a little bumpy, but things seem to be settling down since the new owners have been in place for a few months now. Overall, I highly recommend the organization!
