I am glad I came across the Star Tutoring Center. My son was in need of help. His grades improve in school, his organization skills improved. He started to slow down and started double checking his work. The teachers started to reached out giving me compliments. It’s worth it!

Star Tutoring has been a game changer for us. My daughter struggled all last year on getting work turned in on time. Her grades were all over the place and all her teachers agreed that understanding the material was not an issue for her. We were recommended to Star for executive function tutoring by a friend and it has made a world of difference. My daughter is much more organized this year. No late assignments, and she gets help with any subject where she might need a boost. We even did a few sessions over the summer so she was not rusty after the summer. Sam has been so accommodating for our schedule and Nathan built a quick rapport with my daughter. I really can't say enough. Well worth the money.

Star Tutoring has been fantastic for my son. They brought his grade in math from a C to an A in a short time. We also had great summaries via text of the work and progress after each session. As a parent, I found these invaluable (teenag boys aren't that informative!). I also thought Star's communication and appointment reminders top notch. I highly recommend Star Tutoring if you have a child that struggled in a subject. They have great tutors and a fantastic system.

We used Star Tutoring to supplement classroom learning for 6th Grade Honors Math and Reading. They took the time to find out how exactly they could help and selected a tutor with the relevant expertise. They were always open to making adjustments to what subject matter areas would be focused on in the sessions as the school year progressed and learning gaps/strengths were identified. We always received feedback after each session. They were also very accommodating to our scheduling needs. I had no idea where to start with private tutoring when my search began and happened to stumble across their reviews when researching, and I’m glad I did!

My children have been using Star Tutoring now for almost a year. They are wonderful. They have helped my kids understand concepts, work on homework, and work on organizational skills. Sam (owner) is fantastic at communication and has been flexible with our schedule as well as with the pandemic. Our kids have had two tutors, both college students, and they were very knowledgeable. We highly recommend them!

Star Tutoring has amazing customer service and is responsive to the specific needs of my child. Sam stays in contact to make sure progress is being made and if any adjustments need to be made. Tutor Nathan is prompt about emailing what was accomplished each session and what to work on. They have both been very supportive to my student!

Sam Barnes and his tutors at Star Tutoring are smart, responsive, accommodating, and friendly. Star Tutoring has assisted both of my children over the past three years. I am so glad Star Tutoring was recommended to us. My son gets a lot done during his sessions and his tutor Paul is showing him how to prepare for tests and helps him with writing. Their scheduling is flexible and great communication by Sam the owner.
