It doesn't matter what time of day I call; the educator licensing office is ALWAYS closed. 7:30-12:30... when? I have called numerous times in that window over the last few YEARS trying to get my licensure cleared up. I have yet to speak to a human or receive a call back or even a reply to email. Perhaps if the CDE employed people who do their job, there wouldn't be such a severe teacher shortage. We want to teach; however, your workers have to be available to answer/return calls/emails. Abysmal and highly disappointing.

Getting an out of state teaching license to convert to here has been such a hassle. I have six years of experience but they are telling my district in CO I have only have one. I’m told I have to take the Praxis while other people transferring in are given a professional license without needing to test who don’t have “praxis” in the state certification exams. Also, what offices are only until 12:30? Seems very inconvenient for people.

If you ever have a department of education civil rights complaint, just file a lawsuit in court. These people are useless and have no care for colleges treat their students discriminatory. Don't waist your time and file a lawsuit instead because these people will side with the colleges despite mountains of evidence showing clear discrimination and retaliation.

It is my professional opinion in my recommendations to the world's court systems of the world Republic and for what we stand. In 1991 I knew of the alarming inflation rate that was not successfully matching the minimum wage forcing members of our society into polish conditions. This simple mathematical equation will prove of the inflation rate as easy for our younger students and faculty to understand. 1950s it was only $0.05 to go see a movie truly not bad to be able to work at $0.50 an hour to work 15 minutes to take your lovely wife out to be able to afford flowers chocolates and the necessary romantic things for our cherished wife. In 2016 it has been reported two movie tickets two sodas in one popcorn is the average cost of $50 this mathematical increase from 1950 to 2016 in 66 years is 1000% rather than waiting 66 more years for my daughter not to be able to go to the movies because they cost $50,000 I thought it was best in my interest to give $50,000 to every country around the world just see who had the biggest bang for the buck the biggest return value has been registered and published in the Guinness Book of World Record in 2013 for $50,000 I was able to send 31292 children to school kindergarten through 12th grade all meals were provided for the students including after school activities and athletic sports this price also included faculty and teachers since I was the superintendent of the time of this commission work I did not receive one penny to show the ethics and the standards. In 1999 when the United States Mint decided to commission the quarters choreographed with the years of their statehood of the United States of America I've received 3 Nobel Peace prizes for this work and a Holly Metal of Honor from his Holiness Pope Francis. With the help and proper respected request of my fellow principals and superintendent I highly recommend everybody considering the zero hunger program that will be implemented worldwide to end starvation worldwide and health care for a purpose not a profit. Poor customer service, especially when I am paying to renew my license. When calling about renewing a license, phone representative was discourteous, a poor listener, evaded my question by telling me we were not talking about the same thing and suddenly stopped talking to me to talk to co-workers who were leaving for lunch. It is embarrassing to have such unprofessional behavior representing Colorado's education.

The CDE was very helpful in providing information and guidance on the CTE Credential requirements for post-secondary instruction.

Public education is the greatest resource that our great nation has to offer its people. Education is not a resource that should be limited to those that are privileged; it is a fundamental right which is protected by the US Constitution for all people of all colors, religions, gender and creed. Good luck reaching a human being at the GED department. The whole system is designed to ensure that you never reach an actual person. The phone system is a frustrating maze that always leads you back to the beginning.

They have very poor communication and it seems the only goal is to ruin a students record early. The principal HUNG UP on me mid conversation! rude, unprofessional! I will be taking my children elsewhere!
