We have our 9th and 4th-grade children attending here. Ms. Nayol is a very kind and supportive academic counselor who provides clear and accurate advice to help our children step up in their learning. The subject teachers are also very kind, and it will be a great growth experience for our children.
We also appreciate that the schedule is flexible. They help with the increasingly difficult high school homework as well. We highly recommend it.

My 7th grade daughter has been virtually attending weekly sessions with Ms Sabrina James for the past year (we live in Dallas). What a difference she’s made in my daughter’s reading and math STAAR tests with near perfect scores of 99 and 100th percentile! Ms Sabrina is very knowledgeable, thoughtful & engaging in her style of teaching that allowed my daughter to stretch & grow, especially in the areas of reading comprehension and essay-writing. Education One has been excellent in tutoring my elementary and middle school students particularly in writing/reading/ILA. We have been tutoring with Ms. Sabrina James and she is beyond exceptional in teaching concepts and methodologies for writing/reading so that the students can be successful in any exam or task at school. Ms. Sabrina provides such a positive learning experience and supports and encourages the students to excel in their work. She is always flexible and works with us closely to cater to the student's current needs and goals.
In addition, Education One's administration has been great and very flexible with scheduling and remote sessions.

We were looking for a service was more than just a tutoring service. We wanted a consultation service that was focused on educational milestones, plans of study for future courses, and someone to provide us with guidance on next steps to ensure that our child was set up to attend a top university. We were tired of educators suggesting that our child was average despite the fact that he was a top performer at school, and Mrs. Nyol was the first person that was objective, kind, and encouraging. She saw the potential in our child that many others overlooked and, for that alone, we are thankful.

We started our oldest son at Education One in the summer between the 8th and 9th grades. The course planning and guidance is worth the cost; you simply need to commit and be consistent with attendance. Mrs. Nyol personally sits with parents and plans out an entire course of study with the knowledge that she has about the courses that are offered by the district and the school. The academic tutors in the program are awesome and, to our knowledge, have attended top universities as well. Our son was not very confident despite his academic achievements, and after going to Education One for the past two years, he has morphed into a confident and academically-focused teen.

Here are the some of the achievements of our son since he started attending Education One:

1. Top student at Clements High School
2. Started 9th grade in Algebra II (which has allowed him to maximize the number of AP courses that he will take)
3. All As and one B total in his 9th and 10th grade AAC/AP classes
4. Completed the SAT by the end of the 10th grade (scored a 1550!!!)
5. Accepted to the Yale Young Global Scholars summer program
6. Accepted a summer internship at John's Hopkins in Cybersecurity

The only advice that I have for parents is to start your child before the 6th grade (if possible) since middle school math and science class guidance and hidden pathways can set your child up for high achievements in high school. My youngest is also a student at Education One, and it is clear that he will do just as well or better than my oldest son now that we know what is needed and have an idea about how to get there.

We sincerely thank Mrs. Nyol for her help on this journey with our sons. It was worth the sacrifice and hard work and we certainly do not regret it.
