KCCMH is a Critical Access hospital that sees a varied patient population, treating most, stabilizing critical patients and patients needing other care for transfer/referral to more advanced care facilities. I have visited this ER several times, been an inpatient, and outpatient. My husband has also had to visit the ER and we both think the care we received has been superb. The staff (all staff) has been very knowledgeable, the caring genuine, the skills excellent, and I will repeat the caring genuine. We have been fortunate not to have to be transferred but received excellent care right here! With more advanced care at least 2 1/2 hours away, this community is fortunate to have this facility that provides such quality care. I know these people and they hold a very special place in my heart.

Very content with the care that my teen daughter received from Nate and the nurses in the ER. She was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that will require care throughout her life. Not only were we provided with education on the disease, but we were given the names of care centers throughout Denver and where to call for an appointment. The provider was empathetic with my daughter when delivering the news, which just showed his determination to deliver great care. My daughter is now receiving treatment from a specialist, all thanks to the provider's knowledge and findings that day.

I had to make an ER visit a few days post surgery. The staff was very kind, caring and gentle. Nate, Preston and Elizabeth were absolutely amazing. Thank you for such great care!

The hospital itself is fine but the customer service and follow through from the billing department is atrocious. Zero follow through when trying to get an itemized statement after multiple contacts.

My son had his tonsils removed at KCCMH, it was a wonderful experience to be able to have this procedure done right in our own community. The surgery team, Nursing staff, Anesthesia and Dr. Reichman took great care of our son!

Took my girls to er, 2 & 5 yo. They were great with them. They even gave my 2 yr old a catheter, per my request, to check for infections, and they were so gentle she hardly cried. They were not pushy at all. It's hard time find staff in the medical field who are not pushing meds and who take their time to ensure care and comfort. I would recommend this emergency room.

I was transported by ambulance from the Loves truck stop in the middle of the night with a kidney stone to the Emergency Room. All 3 of the EMS in the ambulance were very professional and got me to the ER quickly. In the ER, everyone were very professional and speedy in getting me fixed up. Also wanted to say Thank You to traveling nurse Frank for giving me a lift back to the truck stop at the end of his shift.
