Sent two kiddos here! We saw improvements in their understanding and they gained confidence in their school work. Very grateful for That Tutoring Place, prices are very reasonable, they are kind and patient when explaining various topics from math, English and science. They go the extra mile and connect with the teachers so they know what the current unit / subjects that are being taught. Definitely worth the investment if your kiddo needs extra support in school!! Our child was experiencing difficulty in many school subjects as early as elementary school. These academic struggles created a great deal of stress and anxiety for our child as well as her teachers. She found schoolwork frustrating and did not feel successful.

Our child has been with That Tutoring Place since elementary school and is now a successful junior in high school. That Tutoring Place has helped our child in all subjects in countless ways. They have helped her prioritize and organize, develop good study habits, break down difficult assignments in more manageable and understandable ways, assist her with test preparation and provide direction and encouragement. As a result, our daughter has been able to achieve her academic goals and most importantly, feel successful.

I know of no other tutoring services that provide this level of service in all subjects with such dedicated staff for a most reasonable price. I highly recommend That Tutoring Place. Your child will benefit enormously from their services.”

My daughter needed a little more help with her Chemistry class....frankly I was really worried. Thankfully I got in touch with Promise Land- Carrie and Luke....they were soo supreamly helpfull and went the extra mile with the help they gave. Carrie even called her teacher to have a reference to the problems my daughter was haveing, and to maximize study efforts. They were very flexible and were able to get my daughter in for a session every time we asked...and sometimes it was on the same day. Pleasant...and concerned. I am very greatfull for their work. My daughter will be able to enjoy her summer now.....Great success.

"I highly recommend That Tutoring Place for all your students' needs. I have two kids, Sophomore and Freshman, who have been going to Miss Carrie, Sonia, Peter and Rick for a couple of years. My son struggles with homework, deadlines, tests and quizzes daily due to ADHD. They understand the struggle and have helped me with his 504 as well as manage the everyday stress of keeping up with homework expectations. The staff is great as they fight for the kid(s), communicating with teachers and counselors if needed. The focus isn’t always on homework but other skills such as time management, college prep and a little bit of mental health as my kids navigate the expectations with each level of high school. As a parent, who struggles to keep up with it all, it's a blessing to have a team of people on your side who have years of experience teaching and mentoring.”
