Gorgeous views, moderate hike. Go early as this spot fills with hikers!

Arrived at the parking area around 9a and there were already a few cars. Bring a pen as you will need to write your info on the envelope provided for the parking fee. And the information for parking is by the port o potties.
.75 mile hike to the lake. Its a bit rocky, a walking stick or ski poles will be helpful.

Amazing trails! The drive up here was incredible. I could definitely feel the elevation difference coming from Wisconsin. The water was super clear and pure! There was even a heart shape in the snow which was super cute.

We came here from Texas to see the snow, it was everything we wanted. It was a stunning hike and the frozen glacier was an astounding site. It was so worth the trip. Idaho Springs is close by and we got pizza afterwards. Highly recommend.

A good hike to do. You may be loss before reaching the lake, no marker or sign visible. Bring water and take a lot of rest if your not condition to hike.

The hike to the glacier is short but it's tough!! The views are amazing and it's a great place to bring lunch and hang out for a couple hours. There's $10 parking down the hill and $20 parking a bit closer to the trail head.

Relatively easy hike up to the Glacier. Can be crowded at times and has religious significance, recommend visiting when not busy. Paid parking at trail head. All that said, it is a very beautiful spot, unique in its scenery and well worth the bit of exercise.

$10 parking and an easy 30 minute hike up to the bar of the glacier. People climbed all the way up but we didn’t. Still beautiful and totally worth it!
