I have 2 girls that have taken lessons through K Heart Horsemanship. Both of my girls, 9 and 11, look forward to these lessons every week! Particularly my 9 year old has become horse obsessed. Nichole and her team are extremely knowledgeable and have a lot of practical experience. They are patient teachers, and are very easy to work with. They are very accommodating, and they are very good at communicating week to week.
My girls have learned both horsemanship skills and practical skills from them such as persistence, patience and leadership.
I HIGHLY recommend Nichole and K Heart Horsemanship for riding lessons!

Nicole is such a patient teacher who herself understands horsemanship and is personally developing her own continuing education to become the best teacher she can be. Both my preschooler and myself enjoyed taking a few lessons. She takes her time to explain clearly and uses multiple modalities to teach a skill. Her horses could not be better trained. I felt very safe even with my toddler around all of her horses. Her consistent training with them is evident. It is clear they are around children regularly. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Nicole to anyone.

Nicole is super awesome. She really knows what she's talking about and my kids adore her. She's patient and calm in her teaching and knows when to push her students and when to let them try and learn a lesson for themselves. She's a great influence on my kids and a wonderful teacher. I'm very grateful for her influence in their lives. I highly recommend her if you or your kids are interested in horseback riding and learning horsemanship in general.

Words cannot fully express what blessing riding lessons with Nicole have been for two of my kids. My daughter Hensley started riding first, and instantly fell in love with Nicole's teaching style and obvious passion for horses and gift of teaching. At six years old, it is such a gift that she has not only found something she is on fire about that is providing her with confidence and joy, but has also gained an incredible female role model that she can trust and look up to. My eight year old son, Sawyer started riding this summer and looks forward to his time with Nicole and the horses every week. Trying new things is something very intimidating for him, but we have always believed that getting experience with horses would be a great way to boost his overall confidence and help with his anxiety and emotional regulation. Nicole creates a welcoming, safe space and we have already noticed what an incredible impact lessons have had on him over the past few months. After his lessons, he is radiating with joy and cannot wait for his next time with the horses. Nicole's ability to genuinely connect with the kids and her gift for teaching combined with her pure joy, passion, and connection with horses is something that we know will have an everlasting impact on our children. This was an absolutely fantastic experience for my kids. They learned a ton about horses, how to work with them, and the kids loved every minute. The trainer was detailed and patient, which enabled my kids to understand how to care for the animals. I most appreciated the one-on-one training and the attention to safety. Never did I feel anxious with my kids around the horses, even though with other horse programs I always worried about them getting hurt. K Heart is different. They care deeply for the animals and they honestly seek to educate and instill that same love of horses in others. We will definitely be returning!

Nicole is a natural with kids and horses, and is doing amazing work making horseback riding accessible and affordable for more families. She has sought out grant money to get area kids free lessons (hooked us!) and her paid ones are affordable. We are temporarily out of the area, but can't wait to do more with her.
