My son has attended Owl for three years. We have utilized their tutoring and full day programs. Our son is nine and young for his grade. He struggled with reading/writing. Owl has been an absolute blessing. Our son loved the program, the students and the teachers. We have seen incredible progress - he is now at, and above, grade level in all subjects. Owl, Shay, and the entire team have been life-changing for our dyslexic son and us as a family. The amount of care, passion, and balance that they find in and out of the classroom exceed all expectations. This is a marathon, not a sprint. The team and Shay break down the situation, the anxiety, and fear, and seek to understand each child first.

Then the building begins in a structured, thoughtful manner with constant evaluation and tuning. It is a partnership with parents and we cannot be more thankful for the path we are on in that journey with Owl and the team.

This is our second year, we will be back for at least one more. Our son loves his classmates, teachers, and the environment they have created.

My son was tutored at Owl Education Group and both my kids were students at Barred Academy. I want to ensure parents know that at Barred Academy, payments are required for an entire semester before the semester begins (and before a very intense agreement is sent out that parents are required to agree to to have their children attend). Once paid, regardless of your experience, you will not be issued a refund of any kind. My kids spent 1 week and 3 weeks at Barred Academy this year and they kept our entire $17,010 payment for the semester. Most private schools will at least offer a refund if the child's spot is taken by another student or work with a family for a fair resolution but our requests and concerns were ignored aside from a couple defensive emails from the school owner. We were very surprised and disappointed about the experience.

The teachers are good but it is highly structured and not a very warm environment which was hard for my daughter. It was overall a good transition year for us from homeschool to a bigger school where my kids are now but it felt unfair if not unethical the way our situation was handled.
