I stayed here for 9 months in 2014. The staff was not all bad. I created a couple life long friendships from some of the staff that used to work there. The experience is one of biblical manipulation though. Even to this Day, I still have some spiritual resentments on the way they tried to force there biblical beliefs on people. I'm not saying the experience was all bad and honestly, Maybe its what I needed at the time but in hindsight. I feel like it did more harm that good. I am a Christian at heart but the good I learned about my spirituality did not come from there. I have been sober 5 years now but I would not give TC any credit for my spirituality today. Oh yeh, the whole working 48 hours a week thing there was ridiculous too. But anyways, I digress. Just know what to expect when going to a place like this. Prepare yourself mentally and you will be okay. Hopefully they have changed some and learned from their mistakes and it's a better place now.

I highly recommend Alabama Adult and Teen Challenge Lincoln, AL center. They genuinely care about the men and not just helping them be delivered from addictions of all kinds but also about where they are going to spend eternity. I am a graduate of Teen Challenge myself and so I know that it works. I have found the only true way to overcome addiction is through God. My husband is currently there and God has changed him and also with the help of the Staff that partners with God has helped change his life. Thank you all for giving God your YES!!! ❤️

This place is crazy. They didn’t open the Bible once in the 3 months that I was there. But they made sure to draw food stamps for me, and then keep them. Feeding us only leftover donated kfc and Pizza Hut. They also got free labor out of me from the day I walked in the door. Staff sold our lawnmower for crack then when he came back, they put him back in his original position. This place is a wolf in sheep’s clothing if I ever seen one. Don’t send ur child here. They will leave with more trauma than help!!

ATCA saved the lives of my granddaughter and her husband. God used this ministry to do great and mighty things in their lives. The program is strict but if you’re willing it will most definitely change your life for the better. It is God centered and it works.
