I cannot say enough good things about this wonderful school. It takes very special people to teach this program and we as a family have seen tremendous growth in our daughter since attending. The curriculum is geared towards real life skills and those are invaluable. The teachers actually CARE and take pride in the development of the kids. They saw the amazing person my daughter was and never gave up on her like her previous school. I truly believe these people are heroes and saved her from a school career that otherwise would have been lost. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart

DADS BEWARE!! If you're expecting staff to have your childrens best interest, you will be very disappointed. My son was a student at this school and believe me when I say the principal and her staff will play favorites. This principal and her staff will disregard (long established) court orders and try to inject their social beliefs on you and your child. Lucky for my son and I that we long ago established what is in the best interest of my son and were able to avoid a close call.
If you choose to enroll your student there keep your eyes open and look for the staff member who is permitted to display feminist, women's rights and social issue stickers plastered to her laptop....

I am a former student of this school and this place was the worst experience of my life. The staff there play massive favorites with the students, there were alot of kids "who could do no wrong" I was mercilessly bullied the entire time there soley for the reason that i was a kid on probation. When i would defend myself to these kids i was the one sent to Detention. it got to the point that they decided that my time in there "school" would be better spent in the conference room of the office. If you plan on sending your child here please don't at all. Send them to Sobesky Academy. much better school much better staff helped Me alot more.

Wonderful school and teaching staff! HORRIBLE PRINCIPAL! In MY OPINION the principal of this school does not have the best interests of their students in mind! She seems to seek the WORST in every student rather than helping them discover their potential to succeed. Regardless of how well your child does academically she seems to try to do what ever she can to make their lives more challenging and I would discourage any parent from sending their child to this school for the sole reason the principal will likely judge your child negatively!

Our experience isn't awesome. Staff has poor communication and definitely displays preferential treatment. When you voice concerns it goes unresolved. Maybe this so called "changing lives" school should actually RUN it like a school or get staff that truly act like they want to be here. This isn't a detention center and not every kid is there for the same reason; leave the pettiness at home and do your job.

If I could give zero stars I would this "school" does NOT have your students well being in mind I have told them multiple times that transferring my student into a regular middle school would be disastrous after they talked to my husband and convinced him to to it we had a meeting about it and agreed that first we would meet with the dean and counselor of the new school and have a safety plan and a behavioral IEP in place first then I got a call the next day that they are transferring him the next day with out any of that in place first low and beholden he has two days of in school suspension for bad language which CLC allows at their "school"
