We couldn’t be happier with our experience at DERS! My daughter and I both take lessons here, and it’s truly a gem. The horses are incredibly patient, trusting, and clearly well-loved and well-cared for, which speaks volumes about the level of dedication from the staff.

The trainers are fantastic—extremely knowledgeable and genuinely invested in helping riders of all levels grow. Whether you’re brand new to riding or have years of experience, they tailor their instruction to meet you where you are.

What really sets this place apart is the welcoming and down-to-earth atmosphere. There’s no pressure, no pretenses—just a genuine love for horses and a supportive community of people who share that passion. It’s a place where you can focus on learning and enjoying the ride.

We always leave feeling inspired and looking forward to the next visit. Highly recommend!

Attended horses and happy hour on July 19 ‘24, and was provided an elderly pony who had just been used in a show earlier in that same day.
The poor thing was tired and did not want to do anything other than walk back and forth in the middle of the indoor arena. I asked more than once for a different horse but was ignored and belittled . Total “riding “ time of maybe 30 minutes. Waste of money and the happy hour was beyond awkward ; the owner and manager monopolized conversation standing in the middle of the group. Highly Not Recommended.

With the guidelines that have been put into place DERS is doing it's best to comply. Having just had our granddaughter finish a week at her first of three summer horse camps at DERS we felt comfortable with the way things are being conducted. Thank you everyone at DERS for a great place to send a 'horseaholic'! she just can't get enough. Great programs.

Granddaughter has finished week 2 of her camps this summer. She is more in love with the 'horse life' then anything. She says "Can I go here all year instead of back to school?' The staff are awesome, the stables are as neat and clean as they can be with horses 'doing their thing!'. Thank you once again for making our 'horseaholic' so happy and learning so much!

Our daughter has participated in private lessons, and is signed up for a week long camp this summer. She just had her first horse show last weekend, and was on cloud nine! The trainers (special shout out to Aiden) are knowledgable and friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and relaxed. The horses are happy and well-taken care of, and the children seem calm and confident. We are very happy with our experience!

Denver Equestrians is more than just a barn to ride horses, it’s a family. Our son has developed an incredible passion for horseback riding and DE has supported him (and us) every step of the way! Corinne, Elleya, Sabine, Debbie, and the entire staff truly care about and look out for Noah. Not to mention, the horses and the barn are so well maintained. He rides weekly, works at the barn and DE/horseback riding genuinely make him feel magical!

My daughters attended a week of horse camp here and I am amazed by how much they learned. Of course they loved all the interaction they got to have with the horses, but they also really got an education at this camp. I also cannot say enough about the professionalism of the camp directors. They were immediately responsive to all our questions and went above and beyond to make sure our girls had an excellent experience. We actually traveled from Georgia to attend this camp and hope we will find a way to return to Denver next summer so we can attend camp at Denver Equestrians again!

My step daughter was SO nervous to try this but always wanted to. As an early 13th birthday gift, we signed her up for a week long beginner's camp. She loved the camp and left wanting to pursue this further! She adored her instructor Willa who helped her win most improved at the end! Her only complaint was not having the same horse all week or getting to choose which one she was most comfortable on. Thank you Denver Equestrian! We're so grateful she got this experience.

The parent volunteer who was helping the lil’ equestrians camp had a rude and snobby attitude. All adults- trainers, counselors, and parent volunteers - should be held to a high standard of behavior. The way she interacted with and spoke to the campers was unacceptable.

Before asking, I would have thought the parent volunteer was a staff member. Regardless, if you look over the other poor reviews, they all mention unfriendly, rude staff with a poor attitude. Staff or volunteer, it should be addressed.

I was looking forward to the possibility of riding lessons here, but we will go elsewhere. I am giving 2 stars because my daughter enjoyed working with the horses.
