I am a first assist in cardiovascular. I am trained as a nurse practitioner. I got that job as a person brand new to surgery. My training focused on this sub specialty. Simply outstanding. I believe I learned more in 7 days than I would in a course that would last a month. This is a must for any health care professional who works in the OR and is looking for that next ladder in the rung of career progression. Even for those that have been in the OR for years, can absolutely benefit from this training. The experience of the in person 6 day training lab was great. I would highly recommend this program for those who want hands lots of hands on experiences with instructors who not only answer your questions, they work one on one to make sure your skills are done correctly.
