Mrs. A is amazing! Our daughter is in 2nd grade, and she had Mrs. A as her kindergarten teacher as well. Alissa is an excellent reading teacher - my daughter began to excel at reading in her class two years ago after struggling to get started with reading at another school.

My daughter has several disabilities including ADHD, a math learning disability, and a mixed receptive/expressive communication disorder. We have Mrs. A tutoring her in math and, with her knowledge, patience and effort, our daughter is keeping up with the topics being taught to the rest of her class. We honestly didn’t know if she would ever be at her peers’ level in math. It has been incredible to watch her flourish!

Highly recommend Mrs. A for any tutoring! We have a weekly call with her to review tutoring and she is very thorough. Our daughter feels very special and excited to be working so closely with Alissa.

I cannot say enough good things about Mrs. A. She has been working with my 2nd grader for the past three months, and she has already improved so much in her reading skills. Mrs. A prepares such great materials and gives us the resources to work with our daughter at home between sessions. I am so thankful we found Mrs. A Tutoring!

Mrs. A taught my son and I cannot recommend her enough. She was able to tailer her teaching to meet his needs and help him excel beyond grade level. She is trained in the science of reading and understands how the brain learns and processes reading information. She made a substantial impact on his learning. Highly recommend!
