I first got certified through RRCA which is a very popular coaching certification but felt like it was lacking extra knowledge in slower runners and the full knowledge behind why things happen the way they do and more in depth into the coaching itself. When I found UESCA’s certification I saw that they offered all the things I felt like I was lacking from the other program. If asked I would 100% recommend UESCA’s coaching programs and hope they become as well known in the running world for certification!

I completed my Running Coach certification through UESCA last year. I have been in the fitness industry for 6+ years with multiple certifications and I truly believe UESCA has offered the best education possible for its coaches. I felt the education was applicable and prepared you for real world coaching. I also had the pleasure of attending the UESCA Ultrarunning Coaches Conference this year and WOW, what a conference. Again, UESCA presented some of the best coaches and educators in the industry to provide knowledge and current research that can be applied to ultra running and endurance sports. I am so thankful for this organization and it’s mission to provide coaches with a proper education.
