Orchard valley is absolutely the best! We have had both of our sons there for the last 3 years and have nothing but incredible things to say. Everyone from the front office to the teachers in the classrooms go above and beyond to show they care about your child. I have never once second guessed sending my boys here and love that we have a trusted place and home in OVLC.

I have been bringing my son here for the last few years and he loves it. They keep the kids very engaged and extremely busy throughout the year with lots of projects and indoor/outdoor activities and crafts. They are always involving the kids in different creative themes and have extra curricular sports options during the year. During the summer they have a pool and offer swim lessons that my son has really appreciated.

During the pandemic they have remained open and only had 3-4 confirmed cases within one classroom very early on. They were able to quickly recognize and contain the situation to prevent further spread and class closures and have been able to keep everyone safe this entire time. One thing that I originally liked about the school when I toured was how clean everything was in comparison to other centers. I loved how they adhere to a rigorous cleaning schedule for everything including the carpet. Since the start of the pandemic this has only gotten better.

We have decided to keep our son here another year as opposed to allowing him to go to kindergarten in the public schools where so much remains unknown and untested. This school is vigilant in following the recommendations of the health department and they have been successful in implementing safety since the beginning. They are committed to being open consistently for the kids and for essential workers which is a reliability that the public schools are unable and unwilling to offer. I would recommend this school to anyone who is looking for a place with high education standards and a commitment to keeping kids and staff healthy.

We had our 3 and then 4 year old son at Orchard Valley through the start of the pandemic, and I needed to get online and write a few reviews. He LOVED going to school, and the staff from top to bottom was absolutely incredible. We moved out of state, otherwise he and our daughter would have been there as long as we could keep them there. I am an elementary school teacher myself, and the love of learning and concepts they taught were incredible. Our son still talks about his OVLC teachers months later. We were always cautious about preschool centers, but wow did we have a great experience. Needed to share!

So impressed with this daycare/school! The first couple weeks were hard. Neither of my kiddos had ever been in a daycare or school environment - but ALL of the teachers and staff helped make the transition as easy as possible for everyone. Daily emails and reassurance, always happy to take my overprotective mommy phone calls... we are still very new here but couldn't be happier. I'm glad we picked this center to take care of and teach our boys while we are at work.

I do not recommend enrolling your children at Orchard Valley. The director is irresponsable, unorganized, and unwilling to make an effort to correct her mistakes. While, ideally the school director would be competent enough to resolve any issues on her own, that is unfortunately not the case here. In addition, the corporate office is set up for employees and has no contacts for parents of the students. I was beyond disappointed and both of my children were miserable.

Unsafe place. Unprofessional staff. Very bad experience on the day one. Extremely unsafe slide for 1 to 2 year olds. My kid fell down from 4 ft height on the ground on her back hitting the side of the slide and the teachers did not see it! She was hanging on the top of the slide, holding by just one hand trying not to fall down and teachers were not there! How irresponsible and dangerous it is to have such slides and structures on a young toddler playground.
Then a teacher WALKED a few ft away from a high changing table with a kid on it.
There was a kid crying for 1.5 hours, he was told phrases "you can cry till the end of the day", "you will cry till you exhaust yourself", "I am sorry but you got to learn our rules". And he is just one year old. After one hour of crying he was just left standing in the middle of the room crying and ignored.
I am so happy that I could spend 2 hours there sitting quietly in the corner observing how things are done there before leaving my kid there. If more parents could visit the daycare centers during the day and watch their kids' real life, maybe then the directors and teachers would be more responsible about their work.
