After being on the street for more than 7 days due to another vet housing program malfunction, I was referred to NCVRC they got me set up with a hotel voucher and after finally being able to take some stress off I waited at th hotel for Pete to come down to get my room I recieved a text saying that can't help me after all due to a non descriptive message recieved from another agency. Come to find out the 3 sodas that the motel prior put on my room account cost me my motel voucher. I'm still out on the street and this is the second agency that has failed. This one star rating can change but til then the good does not outweigh the bad services because one bad service is one to many. The board members were even aware of this and while they slept warm and still do il be outside in the elements.

The NCVRC helped me when I got out the military as long as I did my part they made sure I was connected to the resources I needed. Us veterans need to help our selves to better our situation with the resources they provide we can’t expect them to figure out our lives for us that just common sense

I have always been looking for a location in which veterans can visit and network with others. This location does just that! Veterans can call the center and schedule a navigation appointment to see what types of resources will be available to them during a time of need for them and their families. There is plenty of help, whether it's for broken vehicle or help on applying for benefits. The main objective is we want veterans to know we are here for them and provide support.
