After completing the AMT program at Spartan, Deb and Corey went above and beyond to make sure I get a job. They gave me a list of the companies that were interested in AMT’s, they have reached out to them on my behalf, and also helping me prepare and tweak my resume. Spartan gave me all the training needed to get my A&P license. I had no prior background in aviation but was able to find a great job immediately after graduating and passing my tests. In my experience the Spartan name is well regarded by companies looking to hire a high standard of aircraft technicians. The school has close connections with many exciting companies and they are always visiting the campus to hire students. All the teachers I had were experienced and knowledgeable, and the finance and career services departments were also very helpful to me. The only complaint I had about the school was that some of the training equipment is old and/or in disrepair, but during my time they encouraged us to report damaged equipment and were making an active effort to improve and replace their equipment, so that's good. Overall you get exactly what you put into it, if you work hard you will succeed at Spartan.

My overall experience was fantastic. I’ve learned a lot from the teachers and students themselves. All the faculty and staff was the best. They were always there help me in whatever it was I needed. I believe Spartan College itself is a great path and experience for students to evolve in many technical fields. From engines to electronics and wiring to fabrication to composites. You really do become well rounded and ready for any job out there. I like that there is so much hands on learning. I also really appreciate that Spartan has connections to aviation and aerospace company's that other schools don’t. The career fairs and company events were the best thing I’ve experienced at any school. Those events helped me grow into a career I didn’t know was possible.

This was an amazing school to propell me forward into my aviation career. There are many benefits to this school and they provide everything you need to help you succeed in getting your Airframe and Powerplant certification, you just have to apply yourself and learn the material they provide to you.

During my time at Spartan College, I can’t thank Student Services, Corey and Deborah enough. I was struggling financially while in school and they were able to help me find a job that works well with my school schedule to get me back on my feet and they continued to help me find a job after I was done with my A&P. They are dedicated and determined to help students succeed and find a career. Thank Corey and Deborah! You guys are the best!

I went to Spartan from 2019-2020 and successfully earned my AMT certificate as well as my A&P license in 2020. Overall, I say this school is a great place to learn and study the material you need to pass the Written, Oral, and Practical exams. I would not say this is the right place to learn how to become a mechanic, so prior experience is welcomed here, however this is a great place to learn how the Aviation field operates on paper and through stories if you were as clueless about it as me. This school is like any other place when it comes to the instructors, some where phenomenal, some should never have been allowed the opportunity to teach. The administrators were a hit or miss as well, some were great at addressing personal, financial, or school related issues, some could care less. Career services which included Corey O'Brien and Deborah Burgess, were amazing people and helped address all sorts of issues I have came across. Corey has even been helping me a year out since I have graduated. I have met some great people here, some have become great friends, they are all doing well and have landed some great jobs across Colorado and other states. If you apply yourself and pay attention you will come out in a better spot than before you attending this school, you will learn who to go to and who to avoid for questions. Not a bad place for a fresh start towards a new career path that will take you to places you never knew you would end up at.
