I just completed the CCW class with James Smith. The class was easy to understandand a great stepping stone into Gun saftey. It is Fully informative on when it's appropriate to use the different physical forces and when not. How you could become the bad guy when trying to be the good guy. They offered memberships sign ups to the U.S. Concealed carry association. James made the class enjoyable, entertaining, and placed great real life scenarios to get the teachings across clearly. I thoroughly enjoyed the 2 hr. class!

Took the class and it was very informative and well taught. The instructor was great and even answered questions I had after the class was finished. If you're looking for a ccw class this is the one.

I completed the CCW training with this company. I knew I wanted to be trained by a former law enforcement officer. Dave, our instructor, did not disappoint. In addition to providing the state required training Dave reinforced crucial concepts for firearms ownership and use: education, training, safety, knowing the laws regarding use of force, regularly practice shooting your firearms at a range, & so much more. I really respected him communicating concepts regarding the personal responsibilities that come with owning and using a firearm.

My husband and I took the CCW class and learned a ton during the 2 hours. Dave, our instructor, was very knowledgeable and professional. It was great to learn from someone who has a ton of experience in gun safety and the state law. We highly recommend signing up.

Reason for a 3 star. Paid $30 online for the class. Understanding $60 for fingerprints, but the fingerprint guy said his computer was down so we would have to mail out and pay the $60. But still charged additional $30. So the total for one person was $120. This was not in the add. It's a bit misleading on the pricing.

My husband and I attended the CCW class with the instructor of Dave. We walked in with warm welcomes as Dave greeted us and all the attendees of the class. He made it understandable and fun with many different scenarios and situations to better understand what and when you are able to defend yourself. The knowledge of this class was just a scratch of what is to be expected, but very well explained and easy to follow and retain. I am not sure about other CCW classes, but this Arizona Defensive Firearms Training had USCCA and a digital fingerprint card on site for your convenience with all in the one place. All of whom (instructor, USCCA, and Jacob/fingerprint guy) were all polite and helpful. Made it easy to still be in the class and do all the essential needs to be a protected and educated CCW permit holder. We loved the instructor and look forward to attending an additional class for the better of our family's needs. In addition to all the essentials, they also help you clearly understand what to do and what is needed, down to the number of stamps needed to send in your documentation to DPS for the CCW approval. If you are a first timer or returning to renew, I highly recommend this company as all the instructions are ex police/DPS. This is a benefit to know the laws and as Dave says, Articulation is key!

The CCW class was informative, and my instructor, Patrick, was easygoing, knowledgeable, and engaging. He was helpful with preparing my packet, and the digital fingerprint service was convenient.

My one critique is the class started with a sales pitch for liability insurance from a USCCA rep. Though the presentation was brief, and I could appreciate their attempts to educate new firearm owners, I would've preferred to have had the option to hang around after class for that discussion.

Besides that, I'd recommend this business and the services they offer. I'll likely come back for the courses they offer on the range.
