The teachers are great, hard workers. The classroom aides really care. But because this is rating the whole school it knocks it to a 3. The office staff is very disorganized and most lack basic people skills. Events are scheduled last minute. But it's the same at the high school, office can't answer any questions, letters are sent two days in advance of an event. I can see how the office could demotivate parents. I walk in peppy and walk out a little discouraged each time. They are so dismissive of any questions or concerns. They can't be bothered. I literally got asked, "What do you want?" You'd think they were unpaid involuntary volunteers. But the people promoting PTA and the teachers are very nice, better educated in manners. It's time to get new fresh happy faces into the office. In the meantime, I get by because I do have manners and politeness to tolerate their attitude towards me for the sake of my kids.

The teachers are very hard working and dedicated to the children. Their manner and attitude are very refreshing and encouraging.

The office however... More specifically, the "Secretary/Principal" - Patricia Galindo is incredibly ill mannered, aggressive, rude and unprofessional. It's apparent that there is a disconnect between the office and the rest of the staff.

She acts as though the school is her personal home and can order people to leave, when a parent is very calmly asking for help.

There is no reason for Ms. Patricia Galindo to yell and aggressively tell and gesture a parent to leave the premises, further to not even sit on the benches in the office, simply because the parent wishes to ask a question to concerning their child with their child's teacher.

Especially after a different staff member had directed said parent to sit and wait in the office while they contact the teacher to meet them in the office.

Patricia Galindo was socializing with the health nurse during working hours while parents have to wait silently until Patricia Galindo deems it appropriate to work.

For a school which prides itself on teaching children, and treating the community (including families), in regards to kindness and positivity. They are failing at the very goals to which they claim they ardently aspire to.

Patricia Galindo's actions and attitude are not the examples that young minds should be exposed to. Especially when the children clearly see them directed towards their parents/guardians.

Comapared to Lancaster and Palmdale schools this school really does teach their students! they are really focused on teaching them ahead of their grade, at first it seemed unreasonable and hard but they know that children have what it takes! My child had Mrs. Hubkey GREAT TEACHER MY CHILD AND I LOVED HER! They do however have a really bad organized way on dismissing the children and their parking sucks too. But overall their teaching skills are good.. Oh and their office staff needs help! LOTS OF IT .
