Useless agency partner with private emission testing business where one can pay to pass.
Why don’t your agency do something with all these sound pollution that many of California cars running illegally loud mufflers. Can’t even get a good night sleep with these thuds burning rubber doing doughnut in the residential area with off-road mufflers that purposely made to backfire. Anything other than street legal mufflers should be cited.
Which Calif does not enforce. Sad!

This location does not service the public and acts only as a workplace for its statewide employees. The attached number goes to the “Diesel Counter” at their main office in Sacramento. Typically this counter, which represents a main service to the public, only handles issues with diesel vehicles of 14k+ lbs. You can easily reach a live person through the home number however, and they are typically very helpful with getting you answers or pointing you in the right direction for anything you need to handle regarding emissions, HOV and more. Sadly, you cannot go to this place or call it at all for any help whatsoever. If you visit the building, a receptionist at the front will deny you entry, refuse to allow you to converse with anyone, hand you a phone number and bid you good day.

Absolute scumbags who lobby states into using their garbage guidelines. Then they kick back to those who enable them. Makes a lot of sense I need to pay $1600 for converters now. You make me want to dump oil in the river just to make a point.
