The staff is not very friendly to parents especially new parents. I have called and left messages and now one has gotten back to me and when I have written emails to the school the replies were so late that I could not submit what needed to go to them. The photographer lost my daughters school photos and the school is not helping. Most important my daughter is being bullied and picked on constantly and I have waited 2 days for a dean to contact me still. I have called 4 times regarding the issue my daughter did not go to school today because she is so sad the kids will make fun of her or push her again . We might switch schools all together

The best school in the world! I’m a parent. I see how my kids are happy here. This school has everything to succeed. Some wrote here bad review, because they wasn’t able to be successful at San Jacinto Valley Academy. I see my children progress at academic. All teachers here work very hard to help all kids. No discrimination here, no bullying. Office workers, teachers everyone are just amazing! This school has so many programs such piano, guitar, rock band, basketball and much more! And everything is for free! Tutoring for free. Where can you find a school like San Jacinto valley Academy? Plus, this school has uniform and I’m agree and happy. No one discriminated because of clothing. Very happy parent and my kids also! And this is very big school and huge parking lot.

I'm in middle school at San Jacinto valley academy at the school is races and the staff are so mean. If I don't have a bathroom pass I will get yelled at and get sent to the Dean's office and say I don't have a pass. One of the supervisors are so rude at the school I asked my mom if I could schools to San Jacinto leadership Academy and she said no because of my brother because he broke all the rules and my mom said they wouldn't let me in because the would think I would be the same as him.

My daughter attends this horrid school and I am disappointed to say the least. They overwork their students and don’t provide proper care for the children. I thought my child would to be in good hands when sending them to this school but apparently I was wrong. They forced her to eat expired food and refused to let her go home when she threw up, that is ridiculous! They also made my daughter come to school while every other student was on break, only MY kid! I’ve talked to the principal multiple times and they said “changes are gonna be made”, but here we are, no changes have been made! My daughter was being bullied a few months back and they didn’t give the bullies ANY type of punishment. She came home with a black eye and they tried to tell me she fell!! I’m sick to my stomach thinking of this school, I advice fellow parents to NOT send their children here.

Guess it has been awful since the 90’s, probably how the local industry’s, cults and gangs (all the toxic communities) want it. Some weird things that happened there: I was forced to not wear my uniform at this school by someone calling it racist along with not cursing, the pace is slow and unbearable, and they punish you if already know how to read. To sum it up, If you have plaid GTA V you would know the true nature of this armpit. California is a nightmare for K-12. It was traumatic and has made me a dumber person then I could have.

Sjva is not a good school at all, I’m a current senior and I regret staying a full 6 years at this school, it lacks in so many ways and the school isn’t very “academic” the opportunities here are very limited with the lack of electives etc . Parents please don’t let your child go through the same thing many of us had to go through. There are many other schools that offer more, for example for ib classes and electives for students to explore and learn about new things and perhaps even find what they want to do as a living. I had a terrible high school experience and I would’ve moved if I wasn’t so gullible for believing I’ll have the best high school experience. For example my closest friends had a blast at their school and didn’t complain, they were offered more electives and opportunities to explore their career. Don’t be a bad parent, believe in what your child wants

We have been very fortunate for all the opportunities for involvement at SJVA
The teachers and admin have always communicated with me very well and worked with my son to improve academics, organizational and emotional skills that may have needed to be addressed. There are so many activities here at this Charter school for skill involvement and development in areas such as music, band, aviation, leadership, honor guard, sports and other interest. We are very pleased and support what the school is trying to provide to studens in education and character development.

The valley academy is horrible when it comes to traffic management around the local neighborhood around 7am and 3pm I would avoid any of the roads near it due to its traffic. However, the school does have a special International Baccalaureate program (San Jacinto High also has one) but it more privatized than public. It seems that the kids in the academy are also less involved in the overall community of San Jacinto, than what San Jacinto High is involved with. Important to note, I am a student of San Jacinto High, and the last statement was mostly opinionated and is not truly accurate but more of an observation, however traffic is a major issue nonetheless.
